This small local restaurant, situated on an outparcel, has excellent food. The service is usually very good, but it can have its moments,. However, once the food arrives, all else is forgotten. Chicken quesadillas and wet burrito are our favorite dishes and are among the best we have ever had, including California which has a large Mexican influence.

Was a little concerned when I saw it was an old long John silvers. Good Mexican food! My son had the shrimp quesadilla which was loaded with shrimp. We were very pleased!

We went here looking for something local and different in the Miner's Corner area and decided on La Casita. It's in an old Long John Silvers so it is small inside. The food was okay, but nothing great as others have said and it didn't seem very clean. Doubt we will visit here again.

We were hungry and hadn't found the Mediterranean restaurant we had eaten at just a few days ago. La Casita looked authentic: multicolored walls, ceramic tiles, booths and tables. It was, however, a bit dated and in need of painting. She had a margarita (I was driving but tasted it. How delicious!). The Mexican platter was LARGE and included a... More

Great place for authentic Mexican food. If you are looking for "Taco Bell" type food this is not for you! The atmosphere is so so but the food is great.

La Casita is a great Mexican restaurant. The food is delicious and authentic. It's not a fancy place, but a good hole in the wall type of place. The guys/ladies that work here are funny, welcoming and make you feel like home. I am a seasonal resident and they remember everything about me and my family every time we come... More

An average all around place to eat . The night my wife and I went there was no hostess on duty, just a clipboard asking you to sign in where the hostess should be. The salsa was good but the chips a little heavy. Service was good and the food served quickly... Just OK

Delicious homemade nachos & salsa to each table, while waiting for ordered entrée. Never had a bad meal here and almost always have leftover to take home.

So happy that we stumbled upon this place!! Usually when you taste the salsa you can tell whether the meal is going to be good. This is the real deal here! We had the enchiladas and they sure were yummy! Portions were huge and the waiter was very friendly!!

My family and I stumbled into this place after not being able to find any restaurants open after 9 on Sanibel island. It was 9:45, but they were more than glad to have us. The food was fantastic. Portions were large and soft drinks were huge for the price. Offer outside seating. Clean, friendly. Affordable. Average price entrée was I... More
