Was initially excited to try. Ft myers native, hadn't been downtown in a few years, was last night in town with family, so we got a table for 8 early evening and waited a bit until we were seated inside, as the out front patio...was apparently on an hour wait. The waitress was sweet, attentive at first, and then about 1/2 way through the visit just completely disappeared. First alarm was when appetizers came to the table that we did not order. Second, water glasses came that were insanely dirty. Third, asked for kids booster seats, never came, had to get up and go get ourselves. Same with straws, and other utensils. Worst was when entrees arrived, someone we'd never engaged with, I'll call him "mr cool'' in his backwards hat, asked where to place the first entree, and all of us having convo were a bit confused (as he's talking thru his mask), he rolled his eyes at my mom, and visibly stomped off. Which caused a dish to fall off the tray, he completely ignored it, left the mess on the floor and went back to tending bar. Minutes later, food sitting there on the tray, ''mr muscles'' with his super cool arm tattoos, comes to place our food, just shoveling it wherever, no regard for who ordered what, giving an attitude and saying something about being understaffed. At that point, I was pissed. Worst table service I'd ever experienced (have been in industry 15 years), table was never cleared from apps, and overall just horrible disregard for the guests. Beyond all that, food was overcooked, and mediocre at best. Compared to so many other authentic taco places we've been to, incredibly overpriced. Would definitely recommend to avoid, and certainly NOT family friendly.More

Friends and I went to Cabos on a Sunday afternoon, just dinking around in Ft Myers and tacos and tequila sounded good. We really enjoyed the vibe, the decor and our waitress Jesse. The food was delicious. Elotes, chips/salsa, street tacos and margarites....over the top!...A little negative is that the tables (indoor, at least) feel a little sticky but they are clean. strange. Outdoor seating would have been nice but it was a very busy time! Would definitely go back!More

Went for my daughter’s birthday. The server did not even acknowledge it. Food was mediocre at best and expensive. I know of a food truck that has better food than this. Service was slow ( we were warned). I found a hair in my lime...slaw and waitress took it away with no apology or concern. Inside looked festive but we sat outside. Very disappointed and wonder if the people giving this place good reviews know what authentic Mexican food is?More

My husband and I dined here with another couple on a Saturday evening. We sat on the outdoor patio and Corie was our server. Corie was very good and the food was very good, Parking is available on the street or in a nearby parking...garage. We were actually staying at The Luminary Hotel nearby so walked here. We would definitely dine here again if in the Ft. Myers area.More

Had lunch at Cabos. Very thick salsa and chips were immediately provided. Drinks were refilled very timely. The mahi tacos and the carne asada chimichanga with guacamole and queso were excellent. Prices weren’t bad at all. Well situated in First St. Recommended.

Ordered over 20 lunch meals for a work event and was very disappointed. Overpriced for the amount of food we received. No tortillas were included with the lunches that were ordered as well. Missing side dishes as well. The portions were for kids meals. Too...many restaurants in the area to waste your hard earned money here. When we called to report the issues, we were told to drive back and they could try and help us. What?More

Oh my gosh! It’s the best Mexican food I have ever eaten! Nikki was great and she took good care of us! Thanks Nikki! I had veggie quesadillas. Squash, ref pepper, zucchini. Fabulous. Hubby had chorizo enchiladas. He lived his too.

Yes, we sat next to a couple that had their dog on a leash laying down right by them. You will see dogs with their owners at the outside seating. Will not be a problem for you.
