The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is excellent. Service is fast. The owner is known for her outreach in the community. I had a birthday breakfast for a dozen friends one morning, which was planned in advance. It was delicious and a real hit with everyone.

Wife and I enjoyed a great breakfast on Thursday. I had eggs, bacon and biscuits and gravy, she had corned beef hash, eggs and toast. Both were excellent. The sausage gravy on the biscuits was the star on my plate. The home made hash starred on hers. Excellent service as well. Recommended.

I live here in Fort Myers and when I came to this place I was so impressed. I love biscuits and gravy and they absolutely delivered. We also ordered the corned beef hash breakfast and very tasty. The service is great and friendly. The actual restaurant was clean and set up very nicely. Truly loved this place! Everyone should try... More

We came here for breakfast. What a friendly place! Food was good as well... although these English people were disappointed when trying to make tea with the lukewarm water provided... Anyway, if you want a friendly and tasty experience, go here, you'll love it. Just don't expect a hot cup of tea.

We had a coupon and decided to get take-out while we were downtown and the service and friendless was great - the food was also very good Glad we had the coupon because it is a locals spot and we never saw it before. Will come back!

This is more or less one of those little hidden spots that mostly only the locals visit since it is a little tricky to find as it is located within a much larger building on the lower level. It is well worth the effort to find though as the staff is very friendly , the chow is worthwhile and I... More

Very old fashioned little diner with good food, great prices, and wonderfully friendly and observant wait staff. All sweet girls.

I've being having breakfasts at Gwendolyn's for the past 4 years. The food is constantly good and the staff treat me like family. I also support what Gwendolyn does for our community.

It may be "just breakfast" to some, but this place has heart. There is a loyal following here at this homey spot in Downtown Fort Myers. The food is good and the staff is great.

Came here for lunch and each of us had a sandwich. Plenty of choices on the menu, reasonably priced. Would have liked to try their breakfast but no opportunity to do so before heading home from vacation. French fries were average but the sweet potato fries were much better and stayed crispy. Portions were more than enough.
