My wife and I moved to Fort Myers about 6 weeks ago. Our first trip to this restaurant was a few weeks ago because another local high end restaurant, that we wanted to eat at, had a 3 hour wait. Since then we have been here 5 times for lunch and dinner. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. The food, and we order different meals each time, is absolutely delicious. If you enjoy really good Italian food and a friendly atmosphere, Two Meatballs in a Kitchen is a must.
PS…Don’t forget the Tiramisu with a cup of Cappuccino. Absolutely the best!

Stopped in the day of an incoming tropical storm and it was empty as locals were staying away. We ordered an appetizer of meatballs for $13.99 you get 3 HUGE meatballs. They were tender and well flavored and paired well with complimentary garlic knots. We had a pizza that was excellent and others in group enjoyed a generous portion of chicken parm and chicken French. The chicken French sauce was more on buttery side versus lemon. Server Maiya was excellent and very attentive. Great overall experience and no one left hungry or disappointed.

We had a great lunch- starting from the time we walked through the door and was warmly greeted by the host and promptly seated. Our server Cathy took our drink order right away (they make a perfect Arnold Palmer). Cathy served us warm rolls with olive oil and grated Parmesan while we waited for our eggplant rollatini appetizer. The appetizer was served hot with little wait time. All of our entrees were served as soon as we finished our appetizer. All hot and delicious. The portions are enough to eat half and take home the other half for a second meal (or share)!
I should mention the restaurant renovated the interior and it looks great. If you want friendly service and very reasonable, great tasting food, try this restaurant.

Decided to go for first time due to the recommendation of friends. There were 10 couples in our party . We were seated near the kitchen door which made it difficult to feel comfortable. The wait for a waitress was over 15 minutes.( she did say her team partner had to leave early so she was covering a large group of tables)..She did her best to get our drinks ( long wait) and take our orders..The orders finally came and 3 were room temperature but not hot..Veggies were cold..,not warm but cold… My. Veal Marsala was fine other than there was no taste to it…tender but tasteless due to the lack of Marsala wine….roasted potatoes were also Luke warm at best…the cappuccino I ordered took forever and arrived cold…The whole experience was aggravated by the tremendous noise level…
All in all , definitely will not return…

We went to this restaurant on a Wednesday. Traffic on Daniels was very heavy as the restaurant is very near I75. You cannot make reservations for less than 5 and the wait time at 6PM was about 20 minutes. Dining area is very large, recently renovated, high ceiling but not a romantic setting at all. Service was prompt, not rushed very professional. Food was excellent, we had two seafood fettuccini dished with shrimp +, both wee excellent. Far too much to eat and they had a good takeout container. Great spot to take a group to, or a family, very reasonable for the quality of food. Not a place to go for a romantic meal

My wife and I stopped in around 8:00 PM for dinner ( they're open till after 9:00 ) . I ordered the chicken parm with spaghetti ( $22.99), which is my "go to" dish in Italian Restaurants. My wife ordered the grouper Francese ($24.99), and we shared a Caesar Salad. The first sign of a problem was when the waitress brought us stale rolls. We just let that go because we weren't there for the rolls anyway. Then came the salad which was very good. However, when the meals were served, that's when all my joy left the premises. I was presented with a dish of overcooked pasta, drenched in a tomato sauce. It looked like what my homemade spaghetti looks like when it's leftover for a day or two- mushy and soaked in sauce instead of being al dente with the sauce just coating the pasta.. To top it off, it wasn't even hot ............ just lukewarm. Two generous pieces of chicken accompanied the dish. They were tasteless ........ no hint of any seasoning, and they were cut unevenly with part of it being very thin. That caused the thin part to be overcooked and tough. What a disappointment. I ate a small part of the spaghetti and one piece of chicken. I took the second piece of chicken home, which ended up in the trash because shortly arfter arriving home I had a case of the trots that lasted for a couple of hours. No way was I going to risk another bout of that if it was caused by eating that chicken, which was tasteless to begin with. On the other hand, and in all fairness, my wife's dish was delicious. It was served hot, the way all meals should be served. The only negative with her dish was the spaghetti - it too was overcooked, just like mine was. We aren't complainers, so we simply paid the bill and left. I felt it would be a waste of time complaining. I just wanted to go on record here and warn people of my experience, because when you pay that much money for a meal, it should come hot, seasoned and cooked properly. Something was very off with my dish.

Restaurant Owner
Hi there, thanks for leaving us a review. I'd like to take the time to respond to some of your comments.
First and foremost, we apologize for any issues with your meal. Mistakes can happen. Having said that, Chicken Parm is one of our most popular dishes and very rarely is there a complaint about it lacking flavor. Probably a mishap.
Next, it's unfortunate that you would claim you are "not complainers" but then complain publicly online and hurt our online reputation. Your server mentioned you told her everything was great. Instead of lying to your server, why not let her know what you were not enjoying so we could correct the issue on the spot? You would have more than likely left happy and this review may have either never been written or it would maybe have been a more positive one for our business. We would MUCH rather you complain to us on the spot. It would not have been a "waste of time" complaining, not one bit.
Please do every restaurant you dine at that you're not enjoying a favor and let them know on the spot when something is not right. Allow them to make it right. If and when they correct the issue and take care of you, you will leave a happy customer and more than likely return.
Thanks and be well!

I stayed at the Best Western, about 1/4mi from this restaurant. It was recommended by the front desk staff and I'm so glad I listened! I got the eggplant stack appetizer for my meal and it was outrageously delicious. It reminded me of Boston Italian - the eggplant was sliced thin, fried but not greasy, and the sauce was a bit sweet. They didn't skimp on the mozzarella either. And their garlic knots are to die for. I ate every single bite and told my server that I was glad it was so far away because I'd be in big trouble if it was local to me. I left stuffed for under $12.

We had an excellent dinner and awesome service here. The host was very friendly and helpful. Although there was a wait of 35-minutes, it was “worth the wait”. We enjoyed a glass of wine in the bar area while we waited for our table. When we were finally seated, the restaurant was extremely busy and almost every table is full. That being said, you could see that the waitresses were attentive to all the tables. Our waitress, Maya, was tied up with another table, but signal to us that she would take care of us shortly. She did not disappoint. Maya helped us get our order in quickly, was very friendly and attentive, and fun! The food was delicious, starting with the awesome garlic bread… It was a beautiful bowl of fresh bread, covered with oil and whole garlic cloves! Delicious and warm… We ordered eggplant Parmesan, and the Grouper Francesce and both were hot and delicious. We would recommend Two Meatballs in the Kitchen.

My wife and I arrived and the place was hopping. I thought this is a good a sign, well made fresh food served here. We were promptly served a plate of bread and olive oil. The bread looked like large sampling of sweet rolls (equivalent to half a loaf of bread) with cheese sprinkled on top sitting in a half inch of olive oil - an odd presentation and enough for three. My wife ordered the Gianna’s Salad with a side of shrimp which she enjoyed. My order was the Mamma’s pasta. The pasta dish could feed three people with almost one pound of pasta and a huge amount of cream sauce, there was no way I could finish this. Wonderful, I thought, however the dish was very bland. The sausages tasted like they were boiled with no flavour and there was no sign of the advertised pancetta to be found. I’m a big eater however could I barely finish half of the dish. It’s nice to know that they serve such large portions but perhaps they should worry more about the quality and less on the quantity.

A solid restaurant in Ft. Myers. I highly recommend Maya - she is a wonderful server who will make you feel right at home.
She gave us a great red wine by the bottle recommendation and shared her favorite menu options because it was my group's first time at Two Meatballs.

Two Meatballs in the Kitchen has been a consistently excellent experience for my wife and I over the last six years since we moved to the Fort Myers area. It's one of a VERY FEW restaurants where we prefer the taste, quality and presentation of their food above our own cooking! Although Two Meatballs in the Kitchen routinely provides good to excellent service, the service provided by Maya during our visit this month was exceptionally excellent. First of all she was delightful to interact with, she knows her menu quite well, and easily answered our multiple questions about our lunch selections and the items we ordered as take-out for our dinner the following day. Finally, she was attentive in checking in on us throughout the meal without being intrusive or pushy. We'll be happy to sit at her tables anytime!

Very good Italian restaurant with good, conventional Italian cuisine in more than adequate amounts; great for a second meal "take-home" which they're happy to provide for you! Service was excellent, with timely, but not rushed, food delivery. They also have a bar and alcoholic beverages. Location is somewhat convenient off Daniels Parkway near Interstate 75, but thanks to road barriers on Palomino, a bit convoluted for easy access. Adequate parking and take out, also! Prices are competitive with other specialty, sit-down restaurants in the area. Highly recommended for a good feast for 2 or lots more!

A group of us dined here Friday night and we thoroughly enjoyed the service, the food and the location. Although we read some interesting reviews regarding this location, our overall experience was excellent! Samantha, our server, was an absolute angel. Our drinks, apps, meals, pizza and desserts were delivered promptly! I had the Chicken Parmigiana with rigatoni! It was delicious!! Everyone else praised their meals with no hesitation! I have now personally visited both locations and both times outstanding! Will be back!!

We have been dining there for years but this time was not the same. My husband ordered an appetizer which he did not get until he was halfway through his entree. Rolls came out late. When they brought out my husbands entree it had meatballs when he ordered it with sausage. My fettucine was undercooked for my taste and the scallops were so tiny and had no taste and asparagus was hard. Disappointed and will wait some time before we go back.

Restaurant Owner
Phyllis, thanks for the review. Want to make note of a few things here.
First of all, we are aware an appetizer should come out before an entree. But, the server made a mistake and forgot to ring in your appetizer. He even came to the table to tell you about his honest mistake to see if you guys still wanted the appetizer, and you did, which is why it came out late. Unfair to mention this in your review.
Second, our manager approached your table to ask how your meal was to which you all responded that it was good, no issues. Please, next time if there is a problem allow us the opportunity to fix the issue on the spot so you can leave satisfied.
You’ve been coming to our establishment for years, clearly we have done something right. Yet, I don’t see a single positive review on your profile for us, just the negative one you left today. Why not give us good reviews when you enjoyed your experience? Why only leave the negative review? I see 95% of your reviews dating back over the last few years are negative. I’ll certainly speak to my staff about your experience but it would be really great if you left a positive review when you had a positive experience too. It really does help us just as much as the bad ones hurt us.
Thanks.
