My husband and I stopped here last Saturday night for dinner on our way through Ft. Myers. It was probably about 30 minutes before closing but our food was fresh and so delicious! I had the pork schnitzel with German potato salad and my husband had Bavarian schnitzel which was the pork schnitzel stuffed with sausage and cabbage (I think)... More

Stumbled across this restaurant tonight. The food was amazing. Have no had spätzle this good since my Grandmother was alive. If you enjoy true authentic German food, this place is a must try.

This is a small establishment, but very authentic from the owners to the food. Friendly, helpful staff. I opted for the classic Wiener Schnitzel and substituted spatzle for the roasted potatoes. Love spatzle. I ordered the mushroom gravy for it and it was heaven. My friend had the sampling plate, which included small portions of a number of meats. He... More

We have fallen in love this this little restaurant. The menu is extensive and there is no bad choice. The portions are huge and don't be surprised if you meet new friends and you end up joining them at their table for dessert. This is a don't miss. Reservations are a must.

My husband make it a point to always go to the German Austrian Restaurant every time we are in Southwest Florida. The food has NEVER been anything but incredible!! This past visit we were able to have the owner wait in us. It was a wonderful experience. The portions are so large and cooked to order. We were so thrilled... More

A lovely place. All food cooked freshly. Staff fairly friendly. Do not really cater for coeliacs. could give gluten free bread, would help. They could easily do schnitzel with other flour??? Can go for an appetizing potato pancake and a glass of beer wine.

We were a party of four for dinner. Our dinner companions were from Germany and suggested this place. We were looking forward to sharing a traditional German fare dinner together. The menu is of German Austrian descent. There are quite a variety of schnitzels available as well as Hungarian Goulash, Stroganoff, Sauerbraten,Bratwurst, and other pork or beef dishes. The sides... There was a soup included what is not on the menu card. I had no more in a while such good Food. the prizes a little high... More

Wife and I were looking for a German restaurant. Saw an ad in the Fort Myers paper, so we drove over after Saturday evening Mass. Discovered that a summer special was available, bottle of wine & 2 entrees for a very reasonable price. Food was great, and more than plentiful, wine was a good value. Service was friendly & courteous.... More
