I felt compelled to defend this place amid the negative reviews. Most people don't understand what a Philly steak is. A cheesesteak is simple, nothing fancy. Few decision steak, cheese, maybe onions. This is spot on.

Stick to Baseball Broadcasting You Started out Good Limited Menu Featuring Good Philly's and you serve crap now it's not good. Decided to give it another shot Extra Cheese Philly (provolone) with Fried Onions and Cheese Steak with Mushrooms and a crinkle fry Fry's were...ok When a operator is from the North East You Expect More not less or absentee that's worse. Usually I make a suggestion but your philly is lousy roll was ok fountain soda's at least get cans of Penn Dutch Birch BeerMore
Ordered take out. I live 7 minutes away. Order was ready very fast, too fast. Cheesesteaks were very good but the fries were cool and onion rings burnt and cool. They were just sitting and bagged up. Nothing worse that cold soggy fries and onion...ringsMore
This place can't touch Chickie and Pete's Wont come back despite being owned by a Philly baseball hero
Got an email saying order on line and get 20 percent off. Tried it and found it difficult to customize our 2 sandwiches so I called order in instead. The Woman who answered the phone (Sunday April 5 at noon) could care less. She was...short, rude, one word answers, attitude in her tone etc. clicked the phone off in the middle of my talking to her. When I arrived to pick up the 2 sandwiches the young man who shuffled to the front of the store must have learned his attitude from her. Again rude and acted like he was doing me a favor taking my money. Thing is we really like the subs but employees like these two will bury this store. ( I have given glowing reviews of this place in the past). With the virus stinging us all we understand it is difficult but if you choose to be open then do it right or just go home. We will stick to Jersey Mikes. Subs just as good and the folks working are always friendly.More
Having enjoyed many cheese steaks while living near Philly decades ago and returned many times to enjoy them at Pat's and Geno's,I had high hopes for Krik's. I was meeting a friend I had not seen I decades and we decided to have lunch there....she ordered a cheese steak with mushrooms and provolone and I ordered mine with onions and cheese Whiz. Both orders were not prepared correctly, but since we waited 10 minutes for the wrong order and not wanting to wait another 10 minutes to start from scratch, we ate them. The contents were fine but the bread was a major disappointment. hey tout their bread on the website-Aversa's Ialian Bread. So bad-it was spongy, like it had been in a microwave. We both commented on how bad it was. WE all had onion rings which we OK but nothing special. Fpe $26.48,it was a waste and I would not recommend it to anyone.More
Cheap Meat Frozen Low Quality. Not Even a Good Imitation of Philly, Sorry K will never return. Here is the scoop Meat 2/5 low quality frozen meat not the real deal Meat Quantity: 1/5 hardly any meat to fill the roll Roll 3.5/5 Mario’s Rolls on...41 are 5 times better on Italian Beef Sandwich Soda: 1/5 something wrong with the machine, reported this before nothing was done. Price: 1/5 way overpriced for the quality of the serving, overall disappointment. Bathroom: 0/5 hardly any running water from sink faucet to wash hands 🖐 a health code violation should be cited. Staff: 0/5 never the same people twice, turnover is high here that may not be their fault quality people are scarce. This will not last will not be long before Kruk’s out of business sign goes up, K played in Philly has got to know this is a poor fake imitation of a genuine real Philly Cheesesteak. Will never return again this was it. the Doctor Hit me with some BIG LOVE ❤️💕 and a helpful VOTE! Written 2.13.2020 the Doc! Happy Valentines Day 2020 💀More
Kruks has the best philly cheese steaks around. High quality steak that melts in your mouth. Highly recommend!
I do really love this place and the bread is amazing. No sub place in Florida really stuffs them but I think I get a good amount. I mainly get the pizza steak and the pork, both are great. I am super impressed with the...workers as I’ve walked in behind half a baseball and a family of six like 40 minutes before closing and the one guy on the grill was just killing it. It took some time but the workers really put their heads down and try to their best the times I’ve been. My only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is because the fries absolutely suck, are overpriced and are a tiny portion. The do have great chips though.More
If it was called Kruks fries, it would get a better score, as they were pretty good. Over 20 minutes for a chicken philly. The meat was dry and flavorless. The mushrooms, were dried up and not edible. The “wiz” was a super thin spread...on bottom of sandwich, nothing like the pictures on the walls. Even the iced tea was bad. Been sitting for too long and had become sour. Save your $16 bucks, and eat somewhere elseMore
Tried Kruks PhillySteaks for the a third time today, twice in Collier And once at Gulf coast with the same conclusion just ok at best...steak is low quality, the bread...do some jaw stretches before eating because it is chewy! Thought about dipping bread in water...to try to break it down a bit😂Not to mention the service was sloooooow. Loved watching kruk as a ball player but 3 strikes your out...wont be back to this fast food restaurant.More
Busy. They’ve upped the meat on the hoagie. Lots of other options, the price and quality is great. And the fries are piping hot. They’ve replaced the ketchup bottles with the tiny cups you dispense, odd?.
First time for us and we are from New Jersey and subs there- especially at the White House in Atlantic City are the best. This place does a great job. It has that taste and smell that is so familiar to us. I got a...pizza steak with lettuce, tomato, fried onions and hot peppers. I got the regular size. My wife got a plain steak sub w lettuce, tomato, raw onions, banana peppers and marina sauce on it. Both subs were excellent. We will definitely come back. The folks working were very good. Anna was at the register and she was great. Joe was the manager and he was all very good as was the gal doing the cooking. I hope they do well in this location. One suggestion- if you are going to sell ice tea you need to have lemon. Other then that great job.More
Our first visit and taste of authentic Phily Cheesesteak Sandwiches and we enjoyed them. Nice service by the store manager too. Serving size was not huge and prices were a bit high but Sunday was Family Day so we got 25% off...thanks!
5.16.19 What I do notice is how clean the place is kept including the bathroom which is fantastic. Roll 4/5 Meat 3/5 the grade of meat is not that great get better meat Mushrooms 2.5/5 below par Cleanliness 5/5 Onions 3.5/5 get sweeter onions American...Cheese 4.5/5 creamy unsure of brand not Clearfield. Soda 1/5 something wrong with the mix of Diet Coke terrible They try at least but this is definitely not Philly level sub par. the Doctor Hit me with some BIG LOVE ❤️💕 and a helpful VOTE!
