First off, you can't get better seafood for the price. Stone crabs in particular are always expensive anywhere you go, but here the prices are low enough you can actually afford to at least try them. The service was possible but not great, and the atmosphere is definitely dated, but you really can't do much better food wise.

We ran into this little gem by accident. But what a find! The food was terrific, the staff a pleasure and the atmosphere "old school waterway dining." No glitz or polish - just raw honest food and folks! The menus is wonderfully diverse with something for everyone. Really good seafood reasonably priced. Just wish I lived closer as I would... More

You can't get better fried shrimp anywhere. Stone Crabs are not only excellent, but very fairly priced. Staff if friendly and efficient, and you just can't beat the all you can eat, if your hungry. What more could you ask for...?

Local dive where there is always an "All You Can Eat Special." This is not a high end restaurant and you will be eating with locals. Tonight they had a Alaskan King Crab or Stone Crab special. Good service. Bathrooms could use some remodeling. Luck out on a cool South Florida night for no line. Normally go early or late... More

Meh, food was ok. The restaurant itself is loud and crowded. I also got the feeling from the wait staff that there whole goal was to get you fed and out the door as fast as possible so that the table could be turned over. Not impressed. Was a lot nicer place 15 years ago.

I heard of Catfish Deweys on a recommendation from a friend after complaining about the ridiculous prices for stone crabs in South Beach. Catfish Deweys is obviously not fancy, nor does it try to be. Its your run of the mill off the beaten path down home no frills family joint - absolutely nothing wrong with that. No attitude here,... More

Overall nice place. Good food. Generous portions. Crabcakes far from the best Maryland crabcales I have had, but they are pretty good. Not from Maryland? You will probably like them. Service was slow for us, but I think to was due to an internal communications issue with them. 4 stars overall.
