When we arrived we were seated quickly. Our drinks arrived quickly. As with an order of hush puppies. That had wonderful flavor. Our appetizer arrived not very quickly though. When the dinner finally did arrive the flavor was lacking. The service was pretty good to start and went down from there. I gave the rating a 3 because 2 1/2... More

Food and service here used to be good .. Last 2 times at lunch on a mon service bad. Food on last visit was barrel warm . They had no Cole slaw..just 2 servers ..lots of dust everywhere. Place not updated since built. Torn n dated plastic tablecloths..dust clinging as far as you can see . Such a shame

Went back to Catfish Dewey's for all you can eat fried shrimp! The shrimp was delicious! We all had either fried or steamed shrimp. It was delicious! All of the staff was really friendly. This place is not fancy but people sure keep coming back!

Great choice for seafood in the Ft. Lauderdale area! They offer all you can eat crab legs on Thursdays and that was perfect for us! The food was great and our waitress, Marta, was exceptional! Highly recommend!

On vacation, the rule is to try not to eat at places you can eat at home. Searching for a seafood restaurant, we found some good recommendations for Catfish Deweys. We definitely were not steered wrong. Huge portions and more importantly for me "where the locals eat."

Good old fashioned catfish and other seafood available here. Mounds of food and it is really good. Of course, catfish is their specialty but the other foods are just as good. All with Valet parking. This is a good family atmosphere restaurant also.

We hit the early dining special on vacation. It ranged from about $13-$15 and included hush puppies, excellent cole slaw, tea or soda and dessert (Key Lime pie was Excellent too; or brownie). My fried shrimp were plentiful and excellent with minimal batter and were not greasy at all. Wife's crabcake were large but not fresh and poor. Son's cod... More

The food is average at best. I have had better catfish. The portions are fairly large for the price. Our waitress seemed rushed as if she was trying to turn our table quickly for our party of 10. As a result some of the sides at our table were not correct but were resolved by the waitress.

We went here with a group of 10 people. The hush puppies they serve were delicious! The fried catfish was totally awesome! However the scallops I got were hard and chewy. I ended up not eating them. I thought the service was slow even through one of our party knew the waitress personally. If I went back I definitely would... More
