I really don't understand how this restaurant is getting such great reviews. In COVID times I do believe that restaurants need to be extra careful with safety and sanitation. This restaurant's COVID standards are not up to code to say the least! I watched the...bartenders take masks off wipe their nose and mouth with hands and put masks back on and continue to make drinks. Our waitress's mask was not covering her mouth and nose. A group next to us spilled an entire glass of water that splashed all over my leg and NO ONE came to clean up the floor for at least 15-20 minutes. I couldn't believe it. I will say that the crispy tuna was very good as well as the octopus. The rest of our meal was very average. I will never return to this restaurant. No respect for the customers well being in these unprecedented times of COVID.More

We ordered from them in connection with going on the adjacent Gondola tour. They have a system where you can call in advance and they set up dinner on the tour boat for you. Dinner was fantastic. We had a variety of small plates and...drinks. I was overwhelmed by the choices. I hope to be able to go back and try more things.More

We visited several restaurants for lunch and dinner during our 3-day stay in Fort Lauderdale and this one had the best service. We called for a reservation the day prior and they were able to accommodate our request for the lovely patio on the river....John, our server was very attentive, personable and genuine. The menu is an eclectic mix of Asian and Latin with favorites from multiple countries in both areas. They bring a fun popcorn with kimchi to the table when we sat. We had mini beef empanadas and the Bao Buns for an appetizer, which were delicious. My son is a picky eater, but the kitchen was kind enough to accommodate him with scrambled eggs, which is devoured. The other two in our party loved their meals as well. I had the whole snapper and tostones, which were a little bland but fun to eat nonetheless. The manager came over multiple times to check on us as well. For dessert, we had a tasty Thai Donuts. This is a must if you are in Ft. Lauderdale.More

this place had me wishing I was a local so I could try so many more menu items. My only regret was I didn't have time to go back again. Loved the little touches from the popcorn to the cotton candy. Love the waterway and...the gondola's. Food was Outstanding, Service was too.More

Very happy to have another Japanese/South American fusion location on Las Olas where I can get a variety of Korean, Japanese and Chinese dishes along with best of South American bites. Have been a few times before the pandemic and try to support them twice...during covid closings. Unfortunately both times that I ordered with them, once through delivery dudes and once through Uber eats there was a problem at the restaurants level in the ordering process. Took over an hour to get our food both times with no apology from the restaurant. Had to call multiple times on both events. IF, capital IF, I were to order from here I will call twice to see if my order actually went through. The food is delicious! Bao buns, sushi rollls, but constant mistakes in recent ordering process dampers the whole experience.More

Nice little place on the water with excellent service and food. Must try the charred octopus! We ordered a second round after the first one came out and was so delicious with a fresh papaya/mango salsa.

Ambiance of Casa Sensei is perfect. Outside dining beside the Tarpon River is so relaxing. Kimchi Popcorn was brought right away-Different but Delicious. Appetizers we ordered: pork Dim Sum, Coconut Shrimp Rolls and Crab Rangoon. Dinners: Korean Beef BBQ, Chicken Pad Thai and Chicken Lo...Mein. Everything had wonderful, mouth watering flavor and prepared to perfection. To top it off, as a thank you, our waiter brought a giant pink fluff of cotton candy to the table to bring out the inner child. It worked! We will be back! Thank You for a great night!More

This place has outdoor seating and its very relaxing to dine out. Ordered sushi for 1 and got fresh seafood selections. They also gave us cotton candy after our meal which is a sweet gesture. I highly recommend this place to all visitors and locals...as wellMore

What a perfect night for a cruise on the waterway with dinner from Casa Sensei. We stopped in a little early to have drinks before we departed and Daniel at Casa Sensei is one hell of a mixologist. He knew so much about the unique...ingredients in the drinks and paired our desires to the perfect cocktail. Now the food was incredible. We had Pad Thai, Pad Kee, Fired Rice and a few other smaller dishes. Every single thing we ordered we devoured. For whatever reason, I just didn't think the food was going to be good here. I have no reason why except that it was part of the dinner option for the gondola trip. It turned out it was a double bonus. The gondola ride was awesome and the food was exceptional.More

Weird, Strange, Tasteless Food served COLD. Complimentary popcorn drizzled in a pickled cabbage sauce-WEIRD and messy. Put napkins on the table before serving this childish kitschy gimmick. Ediname served with truffle oil even though we asked for no truffle oil Won-ton soup served luke-warm Crispy...shrimp served cold and tasteless Seafood Special-a DISASTER. Lobster tail served salty and cold. Scallops burnt on one side, uncooked on the other side. Shrimp was cold. Chicken Lettuce Wrap-Cold, tasteless, dry and very strange. If you order it, you have been warned. Honey Walnut Shrimp- ok. Then they served complimentary cotton candy!?!? Huh? Very strange. We are adults, not children. Bottom line: Not worth the calories, time, money or effort. Never again. Anyone that disagrees has no idea what good Asian good food is. Server was polite and professional. Not her fault that the food and preparation was lousy. Replace the chef that worked on Tuesday 2/25/20 in the evening. Otherwise, no way this place will not be here for long.More
