Carlos & Pepe's has become a regular "go to" place for me when in Ft. Lauderdale. Always great service! The margaritas are perfect, making you want more and the tuna dip is to die for! The salsa and guacamole is addicting and the tacos & fajitas cooked to excellence! You miss out if you don't go there!

Stayed at the Embassy Suites the night before a cruise and walked over to Carlos & Pepe's for a quick casual dinner. The chicken nachos were great - each chip crafted with it's own chicken pieces, sour cream and cheese. Jalapenos can be left off or come with the nachos.

Great Margaritas but what up with not using a Margarita glass? You I know glasses break but come on? ! Love to go when in town but easy to drop at least 80$ to 100$ . For two people That was 4 Margaritas , 1 nachos and 1 salad . Food is always great but wow. Less on my list... More

This is a completely different Mexican restaurant. Sure, it has all the usual tacos, fajitas, burritos, salsa and chips but it also has a "catch of the day" and I'd bet it was local and fresh. I had mahi mahi, grilled and it was one of the best fish dishes ever. I also had a huge bean/avocado salad and walked... More

The price went up significantly since my previous visit. I had a Fajita but they charge extra for things they didn't charge before.

Having lived in Ft. Lauderdale for 47 years and recently moved to the United Kingdom when we return to Florida we like to visit the restaurants that we knew when we grew up. This is one of those lanmark restaurants that has survived and is still a great place to eat. Good Mexican Food with margaritas. There was six in... More

Got seated by the hostess immediately , no waiting which should have been a clue. We didn't see a server for 10 min and he gave us our menus then we didn't see him for another 10-15 min to place our order. It was so uncomfortable we were getting ready to leave when he suddenly appeared to take our order.... More

The guac was bland which was a disappointment but the salsa and chips were delicious. Everyone loved their meals. The items are a bit overpriced but we expect that on vacation. For example it was $12 for a cheese quesadilla. Nothing special...cheese and tortilla shells. If I were a local I'd not be paying that. Hubby had a burrito he... More

Prices were outrageous, on top of that they charge for a little bitty bowel of chips and hot sauce even with buying a dinner plate. I know how much it cost to make hot sauce so they are just gorging people with what they charge for it. Service was pitiful, food on the cold side and the manager was unwilling... More
