I got rudely kicked out of a table by a waiter for eating alone, after I specifically asked where to sit, being that I was alone and was told to sit anywhere by the hostess

Went here with my family for lunch. The oysters were delicious and fresh, and the fish sandwiches were great as well. Fun atmosphere too!
My fish and chips were not crispy.Tasted like was rewarmed. The batter was more tempura. It might have been undercooked. The price was not expensive.Service a little impersonal.I live right down the street. Can always give it another chance.Seems catered to tourists.
No doubt Southport Raw Bar & Restaurant is Clearly one of the BEST Seafood Destinations in South Florida. Pam was Phenomenally Service-Oriented, All the Food Delectiable & Excellent and perhaps best of all... they places before you - The Coldest Beer in Town!
I've been going to Southport raw Bar since 1979. They're open for breakfast now. The food's good I know several of the girls in there that work there at the back bar. My friend brings his dog there. It's a great place. Lots of history...in thereMore
We ate here after arriving to Ft Lauderdale and checking into our room. It was within walking distance. We just wanted to enjoy a beer and eat lunch, while enjoying the local vibe. We sat outdoors and were able to watch boats pull up to...eat dock etc. It was so enjoyable. Our waitress was cheerful and excellent (wish I remembered her name she had worked there many years she said). Highly recommend stopping in at this place. It looks like a dive from the front but it was excellent choice.More
Stopped in for cold pitcher of beer and apps. Sat outside with a fantastic view of the canal. App was grouper fingers. Decent. Locals love this place and that's why it's always busy.
Iced tea is consistently barely colored water Easy to fix. Like the new menu. Excellent half pound burger. Clam chowder has been great for 35yr
Ate there a few times on previous trips. However, I was a bit disappointed this time, sadly. They don't take reservations for tables less than 10 people, so had to wait a bit but not very long at all for a table for 2.
Back after nearly three years and the food was as excellent as ever. Sat outside and enjoyed the view of the canal. The service was friendly and efficient.
we came here on a recommendation from friends. we actually didnt love it. just had a cup of conch chowder and claim chowder.. didnt care for the conch one at all. but the clam was ok.. the dozen raw oysters were just ok too.. wed...give it another shot.. 3 budlights and our total came to $60 before tipMore
We drove an hour from our timeshare condo to eat here on the recommendation of a friend. We pulled up outside and wondered why we drove an hour to eat here. Walked in and thought this could be good. Sat outside and looked at the...menu. Incredible selection to meet everyone's desire. I started with a dozen amazing oysters, blue tips. Wife did the fried mahi-mahi tacos and said they were some of the best. Tried the conch salad, was not a fan due to it being to tomatoey for me; however, had no problems polishing it off. The Bimini bread was amazing. Glad I did not try that to the end or I would have ordered two more loafs. Not much to look at when you drive up; however, it was busy and had great food. Will not regret trying this place out.More
Everything here was amazing! Food and service were outstanding and we left here feeling good. I highly recommend the shrimp and grits. I am not a fan of seafood normally but their fish was really really good. I wish I remembered our server's name because...she was awesome.More
Our waitress Pam was exceptionally attentive, and kind. She knew the menu and offered some good suggestions . The conch chowder was great, and the conch salad yummy. I highly recommend The SPRb for lunch, dinner or drinks. Sit out back , weather permitting ....Nice setting with boats, and a good breeze. We ate inside, but hold have dined out back. Casual, friendly staff, and a large menu . A real Fla. Seafood place. No frills , no glitz. Good prices.More
We sat at the bar and our server was the best. Sorry that I did not get her name. Unfortunately they had no clams, which was what we wanted. We ate peel and eat shrimp , which was in an oily sauce. Thought it would...be dry with old bay. Did not love. We had conch fritters which were fine. We did not order anything else, deciding to try somewhere else since nothing else on the menu spoke to us. Lol.More
