Had lunch here today with friends who live in Florida. One has known the restaurant for years and said it has been up and down but seems to have straightened itself out. The service by Lorraine who has worked here for 16 years was excellent and the food was wonderful. I had the seared ahi tuna appetizer with a side... More

Good fish sandwhich. Waiter professional. Nice beer selection. See picture for small calamari appetizer but better than average dipping sauce. The restaurant is usually not too busy at lunch.

Always been one of my favorite places. Born in Ft. Lauderdale it's a landmark with fantastic view. Disappointed for first time with manager. Ordered food at happy hour prices, water came back and apologized did not get order in on time by a minute. So order was double the happy hour price. Asked for manager and did not come. As... More

You can sit right next to NuRiver and the drawbridge; the yachts and water taxis are literally feet away. The service was excellent; the tuna tacos and the fried calamari were the best ever; the prices are moderate except at happy hour, when the drinks are cheap.

Wanted something fun and casual and it fit the bill. Live entertainment, good service, great bartender - Lisa?, many choices of where to sit - bar, outside tables, inside tables. Prices were comparable to value and area - cheaper than some places and hearty portions for the prices. I'd go back......

Great asphmosphere super efficient bar tender Lisa. How do you screw up a medium rare prime rib order and try to pass off well done as the best you can do? Manager is clueless. I drank my dinner rather than try to educate this idiot how simple prime rib is to serve. This idiot didn't even triy to offer me... More

Had a great meal at the Historic Downtowner while in Fort Lauderdale pre-cruise. It is right on the inter coastal so you can sit outside and watch the boats and yachts go by. IT was very busy the night we were there due to a band playing later on so we had to sit inside but the restaurant is open... More

We have taken our baby here a few times now, he loves watching the boats go by. Yoli has been our bartender/server and does a great job...I'd recommend the quesadilla's!

We found parking for $10 for the day in a little parking lot right behind the restaurant, which is right beside the river walkway and across the river from the Art Museum. My husband raved about his burger, and we would have enjoyed the real baked cheesecake more if we weren't so full! We ate outside under an awning; there... More

The view of the New River is the first reason to stop by. Great happy hour specials. Great friendly service, delicious food at any time. Everyone says brunch is great but I should not eat that much! My 7yr old loves the mussels.
