Husband and I felt like treating ourselves to a nice lunch so we decided to try Bistro Mezzaluna off 17th Street. Good choice! Ambiance was dark, quiet and restful. Perfect for a hot, busy summer day. Every employee was friendly and professional. Food was tasty. I had the salmon on warm spinach with bacon, walnuts and goat cheese. Hubs had... More

This place is worth every penny. The atmosphere is romantic and I had the most perfectly cooked steak in the last 12 years. The wine list was a small book from every country around the world, and the staff was so professional and had great pairing suggestions for our dinners. I left full and happy, it was a nice place... One of the best happy hours in town. Half price drinks and very good low price appetizers in the bar and lounge. The fritto misto is wonderful as is the calamari. Great atmosphere as well with piano music.

We had a very nice dinner where we ordered an appetizer and 4 different entrees and we were all very happy with our choices. Had a balsamic chicken pasta dish, snapper and the veal chop and lobster tail specials. The highlight was the veal chop although everything was excellent. Tremendous service. Only complaint was the server did not tell us... More

Ate alone at the bar. Excellent food, wonderful choices, good wine list, too. Would like to get to enjoy it with "company" next time.

Excellent Service and good food is a combination one wants to have in South-Florida's Italian restaurant. Here you have it and this we are regulars.

My husband and I were walking around the area on a Friday morning before departing for the cruise terminal and came across this restaurant around lunchtime. We were wearing shorts and t-shirts and not entirely accustomed to the warm Florida weather (after 6+ months of winter in western NY). Upon entering, we thought it might be a bit fancy for... More

We went out for dinner to Bistro Mezzaluna and though the food was good the atmosphere was a little old and tired. There was a large crowd of men and it became loud and noisy and when we asked to move there was no where we could go. The waiter was not particularly friendly and mumbled the specials. My husband... Let me start by saying we booked with a Groupon voucher, not knowing what to expect. When we arrived there was no one at the podium. We were shown to a table, not asked if we had made a reservation, there wasn't a full set of cutlery on the table and the person put down a wine list and said... More
