The place itself is cool. Parking costs $3 so bring cash. Food was horrible!! Show was good. Would recommend seeing the show and just order appetizers. 1 visit was enough will not be back.

Went for a condo sales pitch and received 2 tickets for dinner and show. $75.00 value. Food was very good and the 50 minute show was fun and authentic. Unfortunately it was busy and late comers forced the staff to constantly walk in front of us during the show. Go for happy hour before the show and the special rum... More

This experience is all about the show which was very good. After dinner some percussionist, dancers come out for the show. There's an MC that sets up the song storyline and then they perform. It ends with the fire storm. I didn't time it but guess it was around 30 mins for the entire performance. The food was regular hibachi... More

I wish there was a rating for zero because this is what this place deserves. Mai Kai Restaurant is very beautiful decor with a hawai, Caribbean atmosphere with a dinner and a show. When you call the reservation line you are greeted by a friendly woman who makes the reservation process simple and even asks if it's a special occasion.... More

Thank you for trying to visit the Mai-Kai. I apologize for your poor experience. The show room seating is individual tables arranged closely together to maximize the viewing for every guest. Some tables are more private and others offer a better view. We try to base table assignment by how far in advance a reservation is planned. It is also... More

I made a reservation for my husband and I for the dinner and show. The total was a bit pricey but well worth it. I ordered from the Bali Hai menu. I ordered the crab Rangoon for my appetizer, the prime rib with pork fried rice for dinner, & frozen mango sorbet for dessert. The food was fantastic! The show... More

We went as a huge group and we all enjoyed the dinner and show. The food was delicious with good service. Absolutely a little pricey (Kids dinners are approx. $20) but im sure its all built in to pay for the entertainment. I recommend it for a nice night out!

The show is funny dancing and the Disney-esque decor make this a fun place to go with a group for a destination. The good is not great, but it is PACKED all of the time! So, they must be doing something right!

We had a great time at Mai-Kai, The tropical drinks were very good they have a large selection of different drinks. The food was excellent. They have a pre fix that we had to ask for but was worth it. The show was great, we sat right in front (must ask). Great place to bring guests. We will be back.... More

Mai-Kai, established in 1956 and one of the last of the great Polynesian themed restaurants in the mainland US, is a rare gem well worth a visit. Even more so with their new "tapas" menu featuring a range of super-tasty appetizers that rival the cutting-edge faire of the trendiest restaurants. Our last visit was for drinks and tapas during happy... More

Description
Since 1956, we have captivated people with our warmth and magical aura. The Mai-Kai authentically recreates a Polynesian Village, complete with tiki torches, a thatch roof, tropical gardens, waterfalls and museum quality artifacts. The exciting Islander Revue is performed nightly by native Polynesian dancers in colorful hand sewn costumes. The Hawaiian wedding dance will seduce you, and the Samoan Fire and Knife dance will leave you speechless. The Revue is a favorite of all ages.
The award winning cuisine includes American and Cantonese dishes, many prepared in our Chinese Ovens, and each dining room reflects a different Island of Polynesia.
The Molokai Bar is a South Seas saloon with over 51 tropical drinks and live music nightly. "Home of the Mystery Drink" served by our sarong-clad maiden, with an orchid lei. Try our House Specialties - Mai-Tai and Barrel o'Rum. Happy Hour nightly 5 - 7 pm.
Our Mai-Kai trading post and gift shop will give you a chance to bring home your favorite memories of the Mai-Kai. From Hawaiian shirts and hats to Polynesian Jewelry, everyone is sure to find something to bring home
