Couple w/ little kids (3 + 6 yrs years) really enjoyed the early dinner at 4:30pm and dinner at 6:30pm. Make reservations to get a good seat. Pupu platter and prime rib was excellent from the fixed $47 menu which includes the show, appetizer, meal and ice cream yogurt. Bottle of wine was cheaper than fancy drinks for two. $3... More

The idea of experiencing a "tourist trap" came frequently to mind. I second someone else describing the food as decent but pricey. My wife and I had the lobster bisque and found it extremely spicy, the menu failed to warn us about it. The seating arrangement is quite crowded and the chairs we had were somewhat uncomfortable. The show stage... More

After driving by Mai-Kai on a few occasions, we decided that it looked to interesting not to try it. Not knowing anything about it, we made reservations so for dinner and the show. The service was good and the food was decent. I ordered the Mara Amu drink (and got the tiki glass as well). I would recommend ordering one... More

Food was fair, nothing special. The show was very good as was the service. I would go again for the show. We were not disappointed.

Perhaps the biggest restaurant ripoff I have ever experienced. You arrive to a mandatory $3.00 valet parking. If you self park, you still have to pay the $3.00. We were seated in the back area of the restaurant because we did not have a reservation for the show. Everything was overpriced. From the children's menu, one child ordered mac and... More

Great food and show. There are fire dancers and a lot of Polynesian dancers twerking on stage. If it is your birthday or anniversary you will twerk as well. A good dose of twerking can put a smile on the heart, or was it the alcoholic drink that I had lol?

The style of the place is very authentic and provides a nice Polynesian atmosphere with tikis and torches, a little dark inside and takes a moment to adjust your eyes. Happy hour offers 1/2 price appetizers and drinks. They have a really big variety of drinks with specialties made with all sorts of rums. The appetizer selection is unbelievable and... More

OK- went here in June as part of the Hukilau. Returned last week as part of the Ohana, Luau by the Sea. Had a great time, spent a couple of hours in the Molokai lounge before dinner. Since our party of 10 had seen the show several times, we ate in one of the rooms. It was great. Highly recommended... More

My sister and I took our mom here for her birthday and had a great time. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. We loved the decor and ambience, dinner was great but the drinks were even better! The show was a nice touch, we loved it. After dinner, we went to the garden area to take pictures and relax.... More

The place itself is cool. Parking costs $3 so bring cash. Food was horrible!! Show was good. Would recommend seeing the show and just order appetizers. 1 visit was enough will not be back.

Since 1956, we have captivated people with our warmth and magical aura. The Mai-Kai authentically recreates a Polynesian Village, complete with tiki torches, a thatch roof, tropical gardens, waterfalls and museum quality artifacts. The exciting Islander Revue is performed nightly by native Polynesian dancers in colorful hand sewn costumes. The Hawaiian wedding dance will seduce you, and the Samoan Fire and Knife dance will leave you speechless. The Revue is a favorite of all ages.
The award winning cuisine includes American and Cantonese dishes, many prepared in our Chinese Ovens, and each dining room reflects a different Island of Polynesia.
The Molokai Bar is a South Seas saloon with over 51 tropical drinks and live music nightly. "Home of the Mystery Drink" served by our sarong-clad maiden, with an orchid lei. Try our House Specialties - Mai-Tai and Barrel o'Rum. Happy Hour nightly 5 - 7 pm.
Our Mai-Kai trading post and gift shop will give you a chance to bring home your favorite memories of the Mai-Kai. From Hawaiian shirts and hats to Polynesian Jewelry, everyone is sure to find something to bring home
