I can describe my experience as one of my favorite of the year. I took my wife in solo date and the restaurant is amazing; the mussels... oh my God!!!!!! Exquisite plates and service. But I want to take a time to thank Timpano to...hire such a sweet, talented, sensitive musician as Danny Olala from Argentina he made our night so special singing without us asking every song that represented our 40 years together. Spending two days pre cruise at a hotel nearby we dined on the terrace outside with friends who live in the area. On a lovely warm evening we enjoyed some great food and enjoyed the service of the staff. If and when I am in...the area again I would love to repeat the experience of Timpano again. AuroraUKMore

Had a loverly meeting here. We were a group of ten. We are in the Sinatra room. Pre set menu. Many choices. Family style grilled mussels with coarse salt, very yummy. Plus meatballs, which were nice light and airy. We both had the skirt steak....The choice where Bronzino fish, Chicken piccata, & Eggplant Parm . Everything looked great. Went with my 2 special ladies, my wife and my 3 year old daughter and I was totally impressed. The service is exceptional and the food was quite good. I had the Branzino which was perfectly cooked and just the right sized portion. I highly...recommend this restaurant and I will definitely go back on our next visit to ft lauderdale.More

Wonderful server, Carolina for Wednesday happy hour appetizers and drinks outside where it was quiet for enjoying conversation and a beautiful evening. Music and Dancing inside but it was loud and very busy.

We met friends from home (Michigan) for dinner. Our waitress was delightful. I enjoyed my grouper. My husband, however, did not enjoy his shrimp because it was over cooked.

10 of us came here for a business dinner and entertainment. First service is excellent, great atmosphere and even though large area, not noisy. Selection is from pasta, fresh seafood and prime steak. The NY sirloin prepared perfect, veal, is so Bucci, Marsala and piccata...was awesome. Muscles outstanding! Calamari fried perfectly. This was such a great meal I returned the next night with clients. Billy does a great job managing and I highly recommend!More

Recently moved back to Downtown FLL and thrilled that Timpanos is still here and still one of the best Italian restaurants in the area! Great atmosphere, service and food! Perfect for a night out with friends, family, or romantic dinner for two. Menu has a...really good variety, so you are sure to find something for everyone and have confidence that everyone will live their dish - just make sure to leave room for desert! Portions are good and quality is great for the price. Definitely our “go to” for a nice evening out!!!More

Upscale, classy ambiance. Pleasant atmosphere. Friendly and efficient waitstaff. Lunch specials. Patio seating available for people watching. A good place for a business lunch as evidenced by all the diners I saw in business attire. Live music on some evenings, leading me to believe this...is a good place for a romantic dinner. I ordered from the lunch special menu: chicken saltimbocca. It was very tasty. I'd order it again. The price was a bargain. I'll be back.More

We have been going to Timpanos for years. There are some other fun alternatives that are in town. We went last night and the food is always excellent. The mussels are the best that can be had and pastas and main courses always very good.
