We have been to a Fort Lauderdale four times now, and this is the only place that we have to go to every time! Our only disappointment was that we asked to sit on the patio and instead of sitting where have always sat, we were put in this new isolated area off to the right. It was no fun... More

This place is a favorite of ours because I love mahi-mahi and my wife loves deep fried gator meat. Their beers are great, the entertainment was very good and their waitress was very friendly, helpful and prompt. We will definitely come back!

We heard about great food and not so great service, but when we came for a very late lunch, the restaurant was almost empty and we received enough attention from the staff, and very fast service. We ordered several dishes to share and all were very good, seafood and fish very fresh and nicely presented.

Hubby was in the mood for a quick seafood lunch, so we stopped between our water taxi stops before going down to Hollywood. Everything looked really good at the other tables around us, hubby ended up ordering steamed clams. He said it was some of the best he has had! We will be back next year when we go to... More

The view here is lovely, watching all the boat activity is a nice way to spend an hour or two. We took our out of town guests here and they loved it! Food was excellent and the service was exceptional. We came for lunch, had a nice meal, but it was too early o take our friends to the airport,... More

In town visiting my daughter and grand daughter, we hear this place has really good food. So we decide to stop by for a late weekday lunch. We choose to eat dockside as opposed to upstairs; dockside was outdoors and more casual. I order the fried codfish and my partner orders the coconut shrimp. Seating has an excellent view of... More

Visited the restaurant for the first time in nearly 20 years and definitely won't be going back. Food was poor quality. Wife's blackened grouper tasted as if they poured the entire box of salt on it. My lobster roll was a disaster. Everything else we tasted was poor at best.

Found the food to be mediocre at best and the atmosphere to be out of a 70s television show. Ate with a group and three either did not eat or sent food back.

Had lunch here and thought it was very enjoyable. The location of this place is great, the view is really good and it is easily accessible with the Water Taxi (stops at the docks). We had the Fried Gator for starters, which was really good! I continued with the Black Angus Skirt Steak which was really good too. Definitely a... More

Voted "Best Seafood Restaurant", "Best Waterfront Restaurant" and "Best Restaurant to take your parents" in South Florida by a Sun-Sentinel readers poll in 2013. Legendary Local Dining Landmark and Marina. Casual dining with fresh seafood. DockSide Cafe, offers live music on weekends, while watching the daily feeding of Giant Silver Tarpons at our docks. Incredibly creative dining upstairs in a historic setting of early Fort Lauderdale and the marina, a "hush-hush" naval research facility in WW II. Complimentary valet parking and dock for your boat. You simply will not find better views in South Florida, with hundreds of boats navigating the waterways.
