We stopped by while kayaking the river. Great boat friendly location. We had a nice lunch with some cold beers. The service was pretty good. Not overly piratie.

Been here before and I've never ever been disappointed. My brother in law is the type that he always has something to say negative. Well he had his anniversary there So enough said delicious all appetizers we've had soups we ordered more. Main course amazing. But you cannot have none of that if they did not have the team they... The regular french fries were expectacular. Our waiter Roy was the best, helpful, polite, and nice. We only drank beers, but the food looks deliciuos. We arrived there in the water trolley. It is free, so you can enjoy de views before to arrive.

Everything about this place was fun, delicious, and relaxing. We will definitely be back next time we ate in Fort Lauderdale. Bathrooms need a lot of work, but restaurant was great! Highly recommend

You would be surprised! Great waterfront restaurant with a beautiful view of the Canal and magnificent food and drink. Brazilian/Caribbean inspired menu (hard to decided what to eat, everything is so delicious). Must try the Caipirinhas. My favorite was the Passion Fruit. Loved this place!

Went for dinner after hearing so much about it. Everyone in our group thought it was good but I thought it was just OK. The seafood was fresh and done well. One person had steak and it was huge and prepared perfectly. I found it very uncomfortable, it's on a dock and we all leaned to the left the chairs... More

The Riverwalk in Fort Lauderdale is becoming so nice! Lovely walk, water taxi, parks, but not a ton in the way of restaurants yet. Shame. But there are a couple of choices and I had the opportunity to experience one this summer in July. The Pirate Republic is such a great location with ample parking. That's one. Two, the menu... More

Perfect! Our waiter was knowledgeable and prompt. Our meals were delicious. On the New River, nice breeze & sunset. Not busy mid-week out of season. A great treat for hubby & me.

If you want fresh seafood that is fit for a king or queen go to the Pirate Republic Bar and Restaurant. The restaurant is set on the New River. While you are eating you are sitting on the dock right by the water. You are treated to ambience of the Broward Performing Arts Center, the Broward History Museum and watching... More
