Came here with a friend and sat at the bar for Happy Hour the food and drinks were delicious. The decor is modern but dark. There is plenty of seating inside with a large bar area. However our bartender who waited on us just ok. He never asked me if I wanted a second drink I had to ask the... More

Another home -run dining experience. Impeccable service. Classy ambiance. My wife and I split entrées: cobia and chicken breast. Both dishes were excellent -- confluences of tastes that worked well together, like a symphony. We dine here regularly. We'll be back.

I didn't do the dining in the dark (look it up) but we did enjoy a 5 course tasting and wine pairing that was quite memorable. I only give out 5 stars to the best restaurants and this one made the cut. The food was unique and exquisitely prepared. The wine parings were perfect and a few unique touches were... More

If you are a food freak, this place is tops for amazing, innovative food. We had the the antelope and the tuna for dinner. Both were amazing. This should be tops on your culinary list, when visiting Fort Lauderdale!

I rarly write bad reviews because I am much happier writing something positive after a wonderful dining experience. However, I was really shocked last night at Market 17 and felt that I had to share my disappointment. After dining in excellent restaurants all over Europe, coming back to the US for a meal at an upmarket place in Fort Lauderdale... More

Arrived as walk-ins and was greeted politely but was told we only could be seated if the table was free by 7:45 P.M. That was 1 hour and 45 mins. away. We were seated at table # 203 indoors and I would request this location on our next visit. I recommend making reservations. Why ? "Market 17" provides " A... More

My wife and I come down here one week a year and try many restaurants...this is the first that I can say competes well with the better restaurants we eat at regularly in New York. The tomatoes were definitely farm fresh, the swordfish and duck confit really good. Service was perfect. Tough place to find for an out of state... More

Great service and exacting menu options with a special choice that involves trying several dishes sampling a range. Good wine selections to go with particular choices

The first time I ate at Market 17 was January 2016. I had the antelope and it was amazing. I took my wife to Market 17 in January 2017. The atmosphere is very cool and elegant; our waiter was professional, personable, and did a great job. The food was amazing. I had the antelope again and my wife had lobster,... More

One of the many top tier restaurants / bar in the Ft. Lauderdale area. Happy hour is 5:30 to 7pm offering half priced speciality cocktails, wine by the glass, beer and light appetizer fare. The key point here is the quality of the drinks and appetizers, as well as the atmosphere is exceptional - well worth a visit or two!

Market 17 is proud to be serving delicious, creative dishes that are literally from the farm right to the tables of our diners. We call this "wine country cuisine" because the emphasis is on fresh, clean food from top purveyors along with an abundant wine list.

For the more adventurous diner, Market 17 offers 'dining in the dark'. It is our chefs table in a private room that allows a new way to experience food. Once your sight is turned off, all the other senses are heightened. It's a fun and unique experience to enjoy our food. (Due to limited seating, reservations for dining in the dark can be requested via open table notes but are not guaranteed. Please call 954.835.5507 to confirm dining in the dark reservation requests.)

Our menu will change daily and we'll always offer amazing tasting menus for you to sample what the chef has created. Come and experience for yourself what all the buzz is about!
