Was traveling through Fort Lauderdale for the night and came across this place on TripAdvisor and chose it due to the solid reviews. Went close to when it opened on a Wednesday evening. Sat at the bar for drinks/dinner. Ordered the charcuterie (5 for $25) as my starter. You can't go wrong with any of the meats or cheeses. I... More

A great restaurant with a nice wine list and locally grown/harvested produce and protein. I had the antelope loin and it was well prepared and tasty. Nice having the option of a tasting or a full portion. The meat, sausage and cheese appetizer is a nice way to start. The service was great and the sommelier knowledgeable. Well done!

Best Kept Secret of the best food in Ft Lauderdale. Menu changes daily so do not be surprised but the food will knock your socks off. Polished service, nice atmosphere. Sat outside, don't be fooled by the parking lot view. Be sure to try the charcuterie made in house. Had the Tuna that was to-die-for! The ceviche was the best... More

From 5-7 they have 1/2 price on all of their apps and drinks! Pretty cool if you ask me. The food is pretty good; don't order the ceviche. The portion is small and it is an odd concoction, including pomegranate seeds. Not that I have anything against the, just that they really don't belong there. The ravioli is good, albeit... More

If you enjoy fine food, you must try this. Eating in the dark opens up a totally new way of experiencing food. The service is impeccable, the food is amazing, and the entire experience is unforgettable.

Amazing experience. Exquisite food. Impecable service. Be prepared to experience flavors and textures while in absolute dark.

Everything was amazing. My husband loved the ceviche and it was the first one I've ever tried that I liked. The proteins were all perfectly cooked. The antelope was lean and delicious. My niece said it was the best meal of her life. She's a young foodie and it was cool to share it with her. She was excited to... More

I regret my visit to Market 17. My husband took me there for my birthday dinner and the entire experience was disappointment. The drinks are bad and the food is mediocre, at best. Even the sitting was not good, we sat on the bench and the cushions suck you in. I tried to move to the table next to our... More

We visited Market 17 during Christmas week and the food was delicious! I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Farm to table concept and excellent service. Hope to try it again in 2017!

Exceptional ambiance, well informed service, incredible wine list, and most of all some unusual menu items that you may never have tasted before. We were five celebrating Christmas/Hanukkah. They had a special 3 course menu with more than enough choices to select.

Description
Market 17 is proud to be serving delicious, creative dishes that are literally from the farm right to the tables of our diners. We call this "wine country cuisine" because the emphasis is on fresh, clean food from top purveyors along with an abundant wine list.

For the more adventurous diner, Market 17 offers 'dining in the dark'. It is our chefs table in a private room that allows a new way to experience food. Once your sight is turned off, all the other senses are heightened. It's a fun and unique experience to enjoy our food. (Due to limited seating, reservations for dining in the dark can be requested via open table notes but are not guaranteed. Please call 954.835.5507 to confirm dining in the dark reservation requests.)

Our menu will change daily and we'll always offer amazing tasting menus for you to sample what the chef has created. Come and experience for yourself what all the buzz is about!
