The seafood was so fresh. Had Arroz con mariscos and Cebiche Mixto, both were very tasty. Will return at next opportunity available.

This is a small little place with a couple of tables inside and a couple tables outside with a view of the beach. My partner and I were in search of the best ceviche in the area and this place fit the bill perfectly. They...also have a vegetarian ceviche too for anyone that doesn’t eat seafood. I loved all the veggies in it, so I ordered that and added shrimp. The sangria was delicious and they had a selection of Peruvian beers too. We had great service, and also met the owner, who was very sweet. We’re really glad we picked this place!More

Simply put, one of the best meals we've had, ever. A quiet and unassuming location within walking distance of the nicer hotel district belies the Peruvian magnificence that awaits. Everything was terrific, from service to food to the ethnic craft beers! We ate ceviche and...the Asian Peruvian fusion offerings. Just incredible.More

We were a group of 5. Ate here on vacation 2 years ago and loved it. We ordered 3 beef and 2 seafood dishes. Service and food was top notch. Good variety on their menu. Our daughter lives in Miami Beach and wishes they would...open a place there. Although there are Peruvian restaurants there she says this food is superior. I have ate at 2 of them and I surely agree. Prices are good for what you get. Two of our group had to get a box for their leftovers. No way were they leaving without it. Can't go wrong if you eat her. They are nice people and hope to visit them again next year.More

First, Kousine is a casual and small place but the food is very good. They offer beer and wine but this location does not have a bar. Seating is both indoors and outside. We had the three cerviche plate that included fish, calamari and tuna,...all separate. Next was fried calamari and we finished with causa. They offer many main courses but we were too full on the appetizers. We hadn't enjoyed such good Peruvian food since our trips to Lima. Save room to share a lucuma dessert which is very tasty. I recommend Kousine and will return.More

You know the saying, "you can tell a book by its cover" , well this holds true for Kousine. I have driven past this restaurant numerous times and wouldn't think about stopping had it not been for the reviews on Tripadvisor. The restaurant is on...Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard, in an area catering to tourists. It's a small restaurant of maybe 10 tables, nestled between a liquor store and another restaurant and bar/restaurant. Upon our arrival, the four of us were immediately seated at our outdoor table. Our server was helpful advising us on what to order. We started with a pitcher of Red Sangria, $30, which was excellent. I ordered a glass of Passion Fruit Iced Tea, $3 as well. For appetizer, we had two orders of the Cebiche Classsico with Fried Calamari, $21, and some of the best we've ever had. For entrees, two of us had the Kam Lu Wantan, $25, beef, ham, chicken and shrimp with pineapple, veggies and stffed fried wanton in an fabulous stir fry sauce. We shared a bowl of Fried Rice, $6, which went well with the sauce. My spouse had the Quinoto con Salmon, $21, which he loved. The salmon was perfectly cooked. My other friend had the Plancha Marina, $27, containing a large portion of seafood in a sauce. The restaurant was out of the two desserts we wanted to try which ended up being fine because we were stuffed anyway. The dinner was severed in a leisurely fashion, so don't expect to be in and out in 45 minutes. Everything was served at their proper temperature, actually had to let our entrees cool down some, and I can tell you we enjoyed and ate everything, not a grain of rice was left. The servers are very friendly and accommodating. The only down side was the loud traffic noise from the street and parking may be challenging. Whatever the case, don't pass this place by. Instead make a reservation and have a great meal. You won't be disappointed.More

Excellent food served beautifully. My wife and I have eaten there twice in 3 days the food is so good. Ft Lauderdale has numerous restaurants we could go to but this one is so good we could not see any reason to go to them....My wife had the whole fresh fish,Snapper, last night and it was prepared scrumptiously. She ate it all. They have many ceviches. Wine and beer selection was very good. I had Peruvian Asian entree with wonderful shrimp, kebabs, pineapple, red and green peppers. Wantons, and many other ingredients, it was in a wonderful sauce. The Argentine Malbec Cadus (sp?) was very smooth and went well with entree I think. No room for dessert, which they have many that are delish. Once you eat there you are hooked to go back.More
