We ate here before walking to the beach and both the food and atmosphere was perfect! Every dish we had was excellent and the shade from the trees and breeze from the ocean was perfect! The live music was just the right volume. Tip-park at...the Hugh Taylor Birch park and walk over to the restaurant. You order the food at the bar and then go select a picnic table to sit at. All of the seating is outdoors but very well shaded.More

Super great vibes and delicious beer — but the woman (I think it’s Rae) forgot to mention the already-included gratuity on the check — and also apparently forgot to show up with a good mood. Definitely recommend, but go out of your way to avoid...Rae (shorter, dark hair)—she’ll leave you with a bad taste in your mouth in an otherwise outstanding place!More

This is a nice little gem of a state park located between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal. This restaurant has mainly outdoor seating, with some indoor at the bar, but open to the outside. Lots of pretty trees with white lights with various seating...configurations. Bathrooms definitely need updating and cleaning. Small gift shop. We sat under the trees. You order at the bar, then they'll call you when ready. A decent menu, but not many choices. The food was good, service friendly. Clean. There's sand outside, with some pavement. Parking will be a challenge, if busy. Definitely worth a visit, then numerous activities abound in the park.More

Must visit. Located within a picturesque state park, lovely food, and the customer service and friendliness was absolutely top notch!!! My mother claims it was the best BLT she’s ever had!

We stopped here for drinks and a light snack mid afternoon after a day at the beach. Wonderful vibe with acoustic guitar player and very cool picnic seating under a canopy of trees. Nice selection of local beer on tap and friendly bartender. The steak...egg rolls were a bit small for the $ and not very flavorful. Could’ve used some seasonings and maybe different dipping sauce options than just the cheese sauce that came with it. They have strings of lights hung all around the seating area giving us the impression they were a good place we could return to for some some beers and a relaxed evening, though when we returned later in our stay, found out they closed at 5pm. Apparently they are open a little later on weekends, though it seemed very odd to us that a bar/restaurant in a tourist area would close so early.More

While we were waiting for the salad, we began to eat our own food, for medical reasons I can only eat special food. An unpretentious waitress came up to us and said: “You are not in Russia!”. It was very rude. This is xenophobia. If...you are not local, be prepared for the fact that in this place you may be made a comment about your nationality.More

We stopped at Park and Ocean on our first day after seeing recommendations on Trip Advisor and ended up going back twice more. Dining outside under the sea grape trees was magical. The food was good. Prices were reasonable. Live entertainment added to the experience....The view was great and the atmosphere was very laid back. Seeing so many people with their dogs was a nice touch.More

food was ok, but the girl at the desk took 18% tips for the take out order automatically. also, she did not print out recipe for guests. I asked for the receipt and found out she put 18% tip in the bill herself. BTW, the...chip bag was open/broken, too. $13 for 2 fish taco, $13 grilled chicken burger, $3 for friesMore

Old Florida beach front bar and great music! Truly the only place in town like it. There’s a real shortage of places like this left in ft lauderdale.

Great place to be in the evenings. Grad a tray of nachos and a cold drink and listen to a fantastic singer/guitarist.

Spent a lovely day at Hugh Taylor Birch Park exploring the trails. Don’t miss the giant Banyan tree while visiting the park!! After we stopped at Park and Ocean for lunch and was treated to live music while we enjoyed a beer and burger. The...restaurant sits right across from the beach and has access to the surf via an underground tunnel. Great place to spend the day! And dog friendly!More

You either get the additional treat of visiting the Hugh Taylor Birch State Park or you can take a wonderful underground and artistic walk from Fort Lauderdale Beach into Park and Ocean, but either way you will enjoy your time here. The food is great,...the location is perfect, and if not for wanting to explore the park, we could have spent a lot more time right here. It was a very peaceful spot to eat a good meal and enjoy the beauty of South Florida.More

Hidden gem of a spot! Great local brews and live music. We toured the park a bit too and saw baby alligators, snake and turtle presentation. Beautiful trees and lake .. nice stop on an overcast day especially.

Surprisingly good food with friendly service, music, and games, make this a great place to hang out, or maybe rent a canoe or kayak to explore the park behind it. Nice place to spend an afternoon.
