We had supper here our last night in Flagler. They were out of Mahi Mahi but had Cobia so we went for that, lightly blackened. The cobia was smaller than expected but very good. The Island veggies were a nice side, but a small portion,...so we ordered a second helping. The portion of whipped potatoes was very tiny. Service was very good and it was an excellent evening to sit out and enjoy the ocean breeze.More

They posted a Fish N Chips Gouper special on their Facebook page. Got there at 5:30 and they wanted to substitute Cobia as they were out of Grouper. I don't think they ever had Grouper. I declined as the grouper was priced at $22 and...that is what I wanted. Got a cheeseburger instead. preformed patty with minimal flavor. Ordered a hazy IPA. was 7.0%. Just okay, no finish, but it cost me $10 for pint. I have never paid $10 for a pint of beer in my life!! Wife got fish tacos which she said was nothing special. Over rated place.More

As we rode South from St. Augustine and hungry, we saw this small place by the beach. Wouldn't even guess how superb the food was. Delicious, delicious. I may ride back just so I can savor the deliciousness again.

My husband and I stumbled upon this gem as we were exploring the area. The service was excellent, not only our server but another also would stop to check whether we needed anything. The food was excellent as was the selection of craft beers. I...had a pineapple mojito which was outstanding! Restaurant is dog friendly, our sweet girl enjoyed sitting outside with us, the attention from the servers, and the fresh water.More

Lovely spot right across the street from the beach, not a busy road so very mellow. Great food, moderately priced, lovely wait staff! Had the conch fritters, tuna ahi with great fresh gingery slaw, mango beer. Just a great experience! Conch fritters had lots of...conch and were perfectly prepared, tuna delish, the ginger in the slaw was yummy - have to tray that myself. Wait staff were very nice! Easy parking.More

Today was my first visit to Break Awayz - a friend and I met for lunch and we're looking forward to going back. The vibe is relaxed - Walt the bartender was welcoming, good food suggestions and excellent service. The Tuna Takati was excellent -...some of the best seared ahi I've had. Nice fresh salad. The burgers looked really good. The other clientele was relaxed and friendly. Across from beach so nice breeze. Worth an hour's drive and I hope to make it again and again.More

We recently went for our first time with a group of friends. Our server (Krissi.....sp?) was superb - friendly and very accommodating for our group of 8. Can't say enough good things about her - she was excellent. The food was very good. Conch fritters...were the best of many I've had. Same for the shrimp tacos. The burger, tuna app and tuna poke bowl were also very good. Overall, the service and food was the best of the 7-8 places I've been in Flagler Beach.More

This place never fails to provide great food and service. Limited menu but everything on it is excellent. Best beer and bourbon selection in Flagler Beach, cool inside bar and lots of outdoor seating. You wont be disappointed.

Great food, great presentation, service on point. I def recommend. Alot of beach restaurants have just ok food. Not this place. They definitely take pride in their food. We will def come again.

Convenient location in A1A. Friendly staff. Not a big selection of items on the menu. If you like Ahi Tuna this is the place for you. Bar located inside with a huge selection of beer.

Let's see - the place is welcoming, warm and inviting (maybe not from the outside but, trust me, it worth the price of admission). We were wisked right in, a table for two and John met us promptly. Drinks? Of course and the selection of...beers was surly welcoming -lots of options. Got our beers and then what about an entree - house special for the day (swordfish) + a burger. Both were top notch. Hey, a bit noisy (we are old folks) but a nice place to visit, eat and drink. We gave it a 4 star but probably closer to a 4 1/2 star. You elect to visit? My wife and I were out on a day trip down A1A from Ponte Vedra to Daytona and was passing by Flagler Beach around noon. We saw this restaurant along side the road with outdoor seating and thought we would give it a try. We...were so glad we did! Being our first time there, our waiter John helped us through the menu. My wife chose the shrimp tacos, while I had the chicken satay. We were surprised at the portions that were served. There were 3 shrimp tacos generously filled with shrimp and the chicken satay had 2 skewers of chicken with sides of Asian slaw and rice, along with a peanut sauce. Portions big enough, We were able to switch plates half way through to enjoy the others entree. John made sure that are drinks stayed full. Looking forward to going back soon to enjoy some other goodies on the menu.More
