My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Espana. We have traveled to both Spain and Portugal, and found the seafood offerings at Espana to be quite authentic. We shared some incredible pork empanadas and the Fisherman's Stew. Both were yummy. The wine list is also quite good. The service and atmosphere were excellent. I wish I could visit... More

Food was good enjoyed several tapas. Place has a very nice feel. Really good service. Was hoping for a broader selection of tapas as that is what I was looking for.

Wife and I shared four tapas and a bottle of Evodia Garnach malbec which was excellent. I had the calamari plancha and would rate it among the tastiest entrees I've had throughout Europe including Spain. We also had empanadas caracoles, as well as their salad. Everything was excellent including the service.

Cute little place off the main strip. We had empanadas and shrimp Mozambique for appetizers. Delicious. Could have eaten 10 empanadas! Then my husband and I had Paella Valencia for 2. Delicious as well. No complaints.

We decided to eat at Espana because it came so highly recommended from so many people. It lived up to its reputation. We started w the mussels which had chorizo sausage. It was delicious. We both had the fish special of the day which was grouper with a jumbo shrimp and a scallop. Everything was very good and our waiter,... More

We made reservations and glad we did. Didn't look like a long wait but we were seated immediately. The sangria was very good as others have mentioned. We did multiple tapas for dinner. Overall I would say they were good, but nothing mind blowing. I would avoid the sausage and onions as it taste like any old sausage/onion/pepper combination you... More

The Portuguese Fisherman Stew was absolutely the best thing I have eaten in a long time. This has to be perhaps my favorite restaurant in North Florida.

A very enjoyable dining experience: nice ambiance, very good food and wine selection. Sitting out back on a nice evening added to the experience.

We dined at Espana the night we arrived in Fernandina Beach, and it far exceeded all expectations. The food was truly delicious, and the service was great. My husband and I liked the calamari steak very much, the bread was too good, I enjoyed the seafood paella, and really loved the sangria! This is probably the best restaurant in Fernandina... More

Description
The traditional flavors of Spain and Portugal are highlighted in all our dishes here in the heart of historic Fernandina Beach. Sip on homemade Sangria or enjoy a glass of wine from a list of hand picked selections (International and Californian). Choose from a menu of hot and cold tapas, "just caught" fish or meat entrees including the national dish of Spain, Paella. You can choose to dine in our cozy main dining room, bright enclosed patio dining room or lush garden dining area which is open generally Thursday - Sunday and weather permitting :) Chef Roberto is a second generation restaurateur, with over 28 years experience. He endeavors to make your evening a memorable one by bringing both his own family recipes, and inspiration from trips to Spain and Portugal for you to savor and enjoy. Family owned and operated since 2004. The Original on Amelia Island!
