Went for lunch during the week. Looked clean, but remember this was in one of the oldest buildings in the area. I had a grouper sandwich and it was excellent. Everything tasted good. I would eat there again, but with so many choices I would try somewhere else (only for that reason).

This is a long-serving restaurant in Fernandina Beach. Unfortunately, there must be a scallop shortage because I went in looking for them but they were crossed off the menu (okay, white-out). But...there were plenty of other options and I went for a seafood and pasta dish. It was tasty and the portion was huge.

My wife, daughter and I had lunch there and I would say the food overall was pretty good. The prices for the seafood were reasonable, I got the seafood platter for 1 and it came with a nice amount of fried seafood. It had shrimp, fish, osyters and a crab cake. The batter on everything was nice and light, and... More

After one lunch at Marina Seafood I feel like I've found another keeper in Fernandina. The place was friendly, cozy, helpful and delicious. I was introduced to this restaurant after a morning of golf with a buddy who mentioned at least once every hole, "I can't wait to have their Liver and Onions." This not only caused me to miss... Like the seafood I ate when growing up in Savannah. Good fried shrimp and fries, good cocktail sauce. Reasonable price. Hushpuppies were a bit chewy for my taste, but all in all a place I would go back to for some good, basic fired seafood.

Took a boat tour and this place was recommended. Walked at 1:45 and it was packed. We were seated in seconds and drinks brought right out. Had a shrimp and crab spread which if I ordered again I wouldn't eat a full lunch lots of spread for 2. We had a salad no wilted lettuce on our plates and that's... More

I could not eat their food. It just looked terrible. I returned everything. The starter was the bucket of oysters. They were not presented on the half shell. They didn't look fresh. The tossed salad had wilted leaves. The softshell crabs were tiny and looked horrible. The staff wasn't helpful either. Their Chardonnay was the cheapest one you could imagine.... More

The fact the restaurant is full of local residents tells you a lot. The food is good, it represents good value and it has a local, casual feel to it. The seafood platter for two at $29.95 is excellent.

This was our first day in the area and being so close to the ocean many of us wanted oysters, and upon the recommendation of a tour guide we ate at Marina Seafood. It was a very expensive lunch with decent food, but the service and attitudes were deplorable!!!
