I think the restaurant needs new blood. This isn't old school in a nostalgic way. The food taste, food presentation, staff, and decor, all need an upgrade, in my opinion. Two things say it all: 1. You can get a "bowl" of oysters - not a dozen on the half shell - a bowl. 2. There is a handwritten sign... More

On a recent unplanned trip to Amelia Island we were unable to get any of our first choices for dinner due to the very busy weekend night. We did get in Marina's just at closing and opted for their fried seafood combo for two. The fried grouper was the best fried fish I've ever gotten with a fried combo and... More

Was told by a fisherman that this was the best seafood! The chowder was amazing! Glad we visited. Waitresses were attentive and we enjoyed good food. The decor is old but typical for an old seafood restaurant .

We had the crab cakes and seafood platter. Average and way over priced! Service was good-even though it was not crowded - took too long to be seated - getting menus took even longer.

It's hard to describe our experience here. The service was off and disorganized and the restaurant was not busy. The decor was kind of retro, but could also be described as dated. The most weird part was the owner. She was constantly micro-managing everything going on. It was extreme. I couldn't focus on lunch because she was so theatrical the... More

We discovered the dock area by accident. We were looking for a local place for seafood. What a catch. The history of the building intrigued me while the kitchen prepared our food. My son ordered his usual burger and was very pleased. My daughter, who is a teen picky eater, tried everything on the seafood player that me and my... More

By far the best dinner I had in Amelia Island! The sea food was delicious and plentiful, the service was friendly, and they kept our drinks filled the whole time! I can honestly say it is much better than Salty Pelican and Falcon's Nest. I see many comments about the food not being bug enough, but my plate was mounded... More

This was my first and last trip to this restaurant. The food that my wife and I ordered was good with the exception of the fries which were the frozen type and were so soggy with grease that they were inedible. It took over 30 minutes to receive our food and I had to ask for my check 3 times.

This restaurant has the prime location in downtown Fernandina Beach. We thought it would be good since it is right across the marina. We were so disappointed. We ordered the Seafood plate for two. I asked if we could have the oysters fried and all the other items grilled and they said they were too busy in the kitchen and... More

I loved the fish sandwich with fries or coleslaw so much that I ate two nights in a row at this restaurant! The first night, I had delicious sweet potato mixed with white potato fries and the second night, I had the coleslaw; which was equally delicious! I would highly recommend this restaurant! As I am typing this review, my... More
