LOVE this place! Fun vibe overlooking the bay in downtown historic Area. Had to go twice.., first time we got crab legs, they were huge and delicious 🤤 The next time was taco Tuesday when you can get loaded fish, chicken or carnitas for just $2...!!! So good we got some to take homeMore

We have been camping in the Jacksonville area for the last month, and we have enjoyed some of the best shrimp in our lives from St Simons Island to St Augustine. We were so looking forward to another shrimp dinner in Fernandina beach, but we...were more than disappointed. We ordered 2 take-out shrimp dinners with fries, and my husband said, and I agreed, Captain Ds has better shrimp. The shrimp were so tough and chewy, we couldn't eat them. And the worst part is we paid $38 for shrimp and fries! We do not recommend eating shrimp in this restaurant.More

I always make it a point to eat here when I visit the Island. I asked the hostess about ensuring social distancing protocols as we are at heiof pandemic and she told me no " we are at 100% capacity" so we walked away. Money...over safety. Too bad.More

We all enjoyed our dinner at The Salty Pelican. Wide variety of menu items with lots of seafood and other choices. Friendly staff, too.

Stopped in for takeout. I had the ahi tuna blt. Advertised as rare, which as it should be rare. However, this was raw. I think they threatened the tuna with a match. My wife had the fried oysters. Over breaded and over fried. Very dry......half of them looked more like chicken.More

Our first time here.. sat on the porch which was warm despite the cold. We got the Cuban, the Special burger, and fish tacos. The fries were yummy! The only thing I wouldn't get again would be the fish tacos. Not a long wait and...a great location.More
