This restaurant had great reviews, all the food items we were interested in and the location was perfect - one block from our hotel! Husband wanted raw oysters but not too many - he tried what they call an oyster shot. Shot glass with beer,...cocktail sauce and one huge oyster. Never saw one so large. He said it was GREAT! The atmosphere was very laid back, there was live music on the deck. You could eat inside or outside. Outside you have ocean views. Our main dishes were Chili Lime Mahi and Rain Forest Mahi. Both were excellent. The Chili Lime Mahi had a coconut white rum sauce that was very tasty and was served with grilled veggies. Excellent all around but not heavy at all. The Rain Forest Mahi was blacked and served with a black bean orzo side that was good. It also had plantains which were tasty. We even managed a pineapple upside down cake to go and ate it later - very rich! Nice servers, they cleaned tables well and felt quite safe eating here.More

First of all, I am not one to complain. Me and my girlfriend did finish our entrees. We started with a sushi roll in which the rice was over cooked and chewy. She had the blackened fish the was o recooked and a little dry....I had the crab leg boil in which the crab legs were hard to peel or get the meat out. We spent $120 including tip and to me just wasent worth the money we spent. I can’t see my self going back as this was both of our first experiences.More

The food was excellent and not your typical beachside fare. Drinks had their own flare with most being rum based. Wait staff was extremely attentive. The decor and seating is inviting and comfortable.

I placed a to-go order: 1. The waitress was no help. Left me hanging with "dead air" and after what seemed like forever, a "Is that it?" I asked to sub grits for fries. She was absolutely perplexed by the request. 2. Arrived. Two waitresses...were slouched up against the counter with their back to the door - didn't acknowledge me or the couple that came in behind me! 3. The hostess informed me, "We don't do grits anymore." What? A seafood place that doesn't do grits!!! 4. Asked for extra tartar. Got home. I was supplied with a 1/2 cup of tartar - really? 5. The shrimp - it had to be frozen. For what I paid, this was a rip-off. Honestly. I've had better shrimp at a middle school cafeteria. 6. I will never go back.More

I was disappointed in the grouper. Thought it a bit tough and chewy. Didn't even finish it. What saved it (a bit) was the crab that was baked on it. I can't remember which dish my friend got (It was fish) but she said it...was very dry and had no taste. I would not come here again.More

Hailee was our server and she was awesome. Very attentive and also down to earth and able to joke around with our table in a fun way.

Waitress had to have been on something, was not attentive at all,30 minutes for food after having to ask her about it. Food was cold! They did allow me to get something else that came out hot and fast.
