Had lunch here. The food was the best quality Mexican I have had in a long time. this is not Tex Mex or chain Mex. This is fresh food, expertly prepared and served. The amrgaritas are far better than you get at most places. Portions (including the margaritas) are generous without being nuts. If I lived in th area I... More

We are always a little uncertain about Mexican fare being prepared by various Mexican restaurants. The style of cooking varies greatly. We were wonderfully surprised by a menu offering that was a special for the night, Braised Pork Shank. What a fabulous dish. We tend to be a little picky and sometimes hard to please. This dish was fantastic. The... More

The food was cheap. The refried beans watered down to go farther and even then you get four spoonfuls. The Mexican rice was not authentic and way over cooked. The food was just cheap and over priced bc of the area. Look up don patron. It's near by cheaper and amazing Mexican.

Great location on a side street in historic downtown Fernandina Beach...authentic Mexican cuisine. The icy Margarita was a great way to enjoy the salty chips and delicious fresh salsa. The generous portion of chicken fajitas were sizzling and very satisfying. Very friendly and attentive service. Wonderful way to start our weekend!

It was raining,. late and decided we to try for something like a taco salad. What a mistake. The waiter said the Avo Loco was a large salad. Never had a salad like this . There were less than 10 pieces of lettuce and 2 tomatoe quarters all which had been fried with the meat soggy wasn't the word for... More

If you're hankering for Mexican, this is a great place downtown Amelia Island. The outdoors porch is cool, and great for people watching while you eat. There's a big bar and air conditioning inside, and all of the staff are very friendly and professional. If it's a complaint, I am ALWAYS stuffed when I leave!

If you want a true Mexican food experience, at a very reasonable price, Pablo's is the place to go. However, Pablo's does not serve your typical "Americanized" Mexican food. Their preparation is more the authentic ways of preparing and serving true Mexican fare with fresh, in-house prepared ingredients, and it is delicious. The restaurant is very open, with a good... Very cute atmosphere and we had great service. The salsa was really good! The menu is very small and so were the portions. The enchiladas were good, but they weren't fantastic. The rice had quite a few vegetables in it but the refried beans weren't very warm and didn't have much flavor. They are evidently having some plumbing issues (could... More
