There aren't a lot of dining choices in Everglades City. Many of them close before dinner time. This is about a mile south of the main area. We went for dinner. They have a full bar and a largely seafood menu. I needed something not fried and chose the chicken caesar salad. The chicken was so-so. I've had much better,... More

We ended up eating there twice, but the second time was only because it was the only place open on Thanksgiving Day. Good-by clam chowder, trigger fish, chicken wings. Average - grouper, burger, turkey dinner. Huge portions are reasonable prices.

Beware the over priced snapper! This place was horrific. Both my husband and I decided To try Oyster House after hearing some fisherman say they went. Should have hasked if it was good or not. I was a bit suspicious when the menu listed cobia, trigger fish and snapper. Usually, it's hard to offer all these delicacies at the same... More

We went to the Oyster House tonight for dinner. Really great welcome and service. The food was very good and a very reasonable price. I had the Blackened Grouper salad and my husband the Steak Sandwich. Both were very good. Freshly done and tasty. Nice atmosphere too. A real find.

Typical small fishing village restaurant....ordered grilled fish tacos and they were cold. Also, we ordered steamed shrimp as an appetizer and after eating a few I noticed a big black hair on our plate...gross! We let our server know and she said "ugh" but they didn't take it off our bill! We should have complained but didn't.....wont be back

This was where we ate as a part of our all day Everglades Excursions tour (See separate review.). We thought the food was delicious, and service was exact and efficient. We started with deep fried alligator bites (tasted like tender and moist chicken), then had fish and chips made with grouper, and deep fried battered shrimp. Truly the best shrimp... More

Stopped in on our Tour Bus Travels with 50 folks last week. The food was wonderful. I had the Fried Oysters and my wife had the Grouper Sandwich. Both were as good as we have ever had. Large portions. Very fast service. Would go there again.

We were trying to kill time before sunset and found a gem! Sautéed Gater Tail is a must! We shared a sampler platter that we loved. Decor is entertaining and the staff was friendly.
