We found this little gem today on our way to an airboat tour in Everglades City! This was the first time we have ever tried stone crab, and it was delicious. I had a blackened grouper sandwich with sweet potato fries. It’s a market, so...the atmosphere is a little different than a normal sit down restaurant. We loved everything about it though!!More

This USED to be one of those little out of the way gems you find on a road trip. It was always a go-to spot for me and a place I'd take visiting friends to when in the area. I took some friends there today,...and everything we ordered was pretty bad. My soft-shell crab smelled awfully fishy, I'm sure it was getting close to bad, my Grouper bites were DRY and overcooked, as was my friend's Chicken. We ordered some Conch fritters, and they were almost all dough with barely any discernable Conch. Everything tasted as if the Oil was too hot or at LEAST needed changing. I was hugely disappointed, and this place is now totally off my list. It's a shame because everything their used to be fresh and delicious.More

Don't pass this by! It is not fancy - you sit on picnic benches-but the food is great. Big portions, always fresh and the vibe is funky and fun.

Had to try the gator bites after seeing alligators on the airboat rides. Friendly staff and quick service. A unique experience.

They say don't judge a book by its cover. Don't pass this out of the way gem by. It was delicious. Simple, menu printed on a white board. Order at the counter. They call your number and hand it out a side window. What fun....The food is great. Fresh and tasty. Sit at a picnic table on the deck by the water and watch the airboats go by.More

We stopped here as we drove the Tamiami Trail from Naples to Homestead. The sign said indoor or outdoor dining but if indoor is available we did not see it. Most diners ate at picnic tables on the waterfront. This is a place where you...go to a counter in the kitchen/market area, order, and the food is delivered by number through a window out the other side of the kitchen. Most seafood seemed to be fried. We both had medium fried shrimp and fries. I think I had between 16-17 shrimp which was very adequate. The day was warm so the outside seating was great.More

Good local seafood place. Outside covered picnic tables overlook the water. Inside seating not available. Orders are placed at the counter. Friendly and fast service.

Water views and fresh cooked seafood, plus beer, wine and soft drinks. A little pricey but worth it. Nice.

Great one time stop for area and seafood. But all food is fried. There is/was no raw seafood. There was a sign that Oysters will be served in October. The food was a bit oily but not that bad as long as you drink lots...of soda with it. The ordering line is a bit hectic, so you may need to pay attention not to be cut off. The seating is great, but a moment there was a air boat near by that was way too loud. And it is self service and seating.More

My family and I spent the morning in and around Everglades City taking in the sites. We heard about City Seafood and we’re so glad we tried it. Between all of us we tried most proteins on the menu (Gator, frog, shrimp, soft shell crab,...and fish) that were freshly caught that day. Everything was good and the hush puppies were great! The view is beautiful and Candice was a super hostess. Totally recommend this little swamp joint.More

4 years in the making. Originally our friends had visited and shared a YouTube video review. We always said we would try it together. Finally we made it. It didn’t disappoint. Shrimp, Gator, grouper, chicken... so good. Reasonable prices. Friendly service and a casual shack...environment overlooking the water. We watched the fish, airboats coming in and out and a couple of dolphins. In our short stay, City Seafood is your #1 casual dining with premium entrees. I’m sure it’s the place we would eat at multiple times if we had stayed in the area longer.More

I have now been here twice and had the same thing both times. A simple grouper sandwich. I had it grilled with Cole slaw on the side. It’s absolutely as good as you can get. Great fish on an excellent bun.Mix in a ice cold...beer that you pull out of a cooler and you have a great meal. They offer all types of seafood and fish including soft shell blue crab, shrimp, stone crab, and even gator. You just walk up, order off their menu, then they call you when your order is made. They turn orders very quickly. Dine on a picnic table right on the water in the Everglades. What could be better?More

This is more of a no-frills seafood bar With a walk up order menu than a restaurant. But I am still thinking about those stone crabs! I loved them And they were very fresh. I would have gone back and ordered more if we had...more time! LOL It has a nice setting where you can sit at a picnic table and enjoy your food And see the water and boats go by. If I were back in Everglades city, I would Definitely stop in again.More

Sorry, can't help. My guess is open, as holidays are big business for that industry. As already mentioned, give them a call!
