Started out going to a different restaurant in Englewood only to find it closed. Well, that was not going to work, drove down Dearborn to find this restaurant and decided to stop in. Boy, oh boy were we surprised at what was inside. They checked...our temp before showing us to the back and that's where we were surprised. Wonderful open air back seating full of tables and we were given a perfect table to enjoy the music. It was extremely busy it took awhile to get our drinks, we ordered apps because we knew it was going to take a while to get food. We ordered the ceviche and the avocado and crawfish dip. .Absolutely delicious!!! Now for the main courses, my friend and I had the red snapper, OMG!!! It was perfect. Husband had the pork schnitzel dinner it surprised him, thought it was really great. Other friend had the schnitzel sandwich and more praises from him. Our server was new but still gave us all the attention she could, having several tables.
I can't say enough about are visit here. Met the owner and told her how wonderful our night turn out, fabulous!!
Can't wait to return!!More
I love this place and have been going for years. I love the blues and they get great people. The problem is that none of the staff are wearing masks. I am shocked. As much as we hate it, we have not been able to...go, it just isn't comfortable right now. I hope they wake up and do a little better with guidelines.More
We were anxious to visit Englewoods. Heard that the food was great and a fun atmosphere. However, after sitting down and ordering a drink, we realized none of the staff were wearing masks. There was no social distancing observed. We paid for our drink and...left.More

I want you to know all of our Employees are wearing face coverings, we are taking temperatures at the entrance and sanitizing all surfaces before and after each diner.
We are following all CDC guidelines. I hope this helps in your future visit.
Went there Saturday June 6th for the first time. Greeted and seated. There was a blues band getting ready to play. We ordered 3 apps and drinks. They were good. Best was Artichoke Crawfish dip. Entrees ordered Red Snapper and Scallops. Scallops were on the...specialty menu. They were superb. Lemon butter sauce and seared to delicate perfection. The band was Memphis Rub blues band. There too were superb. No cover charge. They have an outdoor back stage. Rain kept us inside for the most part We will definitely be back. It is a 75 mile drive ... But well worth it. CHAO.More
Very nice place to visit and eat. You can sit outside in front or you can sit inside or in courtyard in back where they have live music. Not many places offer 3 different eating areas for you to choose from. We came with friends...and sat outside in front where we could carry on conversations.
Very good selection of drinks. It was Happy Hour. Many drinks not included in Happy Hour, so we would recommend you ask what is included.
Very good selection of food. The Coconut Shrimp appetizer was very good. As well as the Clam Chowder soup was very good. Really good fall off the bone Baby Back Ribs and Old-World Vienna Schnitzel as well. Our group of 4 all enjoyed our meals and experience.More
What a great restaurant. Tuesday night was blues night and the band was excellent. They played alot of great 70's music and some original music. The guitarists were amazing and could seriously make their guitars talk. The atmosphere was outstanding and the food excellent. Our...waitress was fantastic and very attentive. I had steak and my husband had chicken marsala and both were excellent. Everyone at our table had great meals and really enjoyed themselves.More
While staying on Manasota we enjoyed the food, scene and music of Selwin Birchwood in this inside/outside blues bar and restaurant! The place was packed with partying seniors including us. A must on Englewood!!
