Great place for dinner, drinks and entertainment in the cool indoor or the wild outdoor.

I've been to Artur's many times over the last 6 months or so. Every menu item I've tried has been amongst the best I've ever had. The Polish sampler is really amazing. Art himself greets most guests as they arrive and The hospitality is impeccable and apparently built from the top down as Art himself greets most guests as they arrive. From the moment you walk in, you're treated like family. The 2 bars inside have a cold rail to set your drink on to keep it cold. Out the back door, they recently finished building what is likely the largest natural thatch-roof tiki in Florida. There you'll find 2 more amazing bars and a full stage that features everything to solo-acoustic acts to full bands of various genres. It's a great place to be and for me it's only 6 miles away. I am lucky.

A delicious meal at a reasonable price is what most folks are looking for. Artur’s serves it up quickly and in a comfortable atmosphere, no blaring music or TVs. We had the kielbasa and the stuffed cabbage. Both dishes very well executed and served with a fresh salad and green beans cooked just right and, can you believe it, fresh-made mashed potatoes and delicious bread. Try Artur’s You will be glad you did.

We had dinner there with a large group of fiends. Marcella was our server and provided phenomenal service from beginning to the end. The menu had a variety of selections, including Polish dishes, that were absolutely delicious, at a great price point and generous portions. Everyone in or group totally enjoyed the experience!

The menu online is not the same as the menu in the restaurant as I was hoping to order the halibut dinner as described online. We ended up ordering two hamburgers with onion rings. When the burgers arrived (it took a little too long for the food to arrive), the burgers did not have lettuce, tomato or onions included as described in their menu and they came with French fries not onion rings as ordered. The buns were not toasted and cold. We pointed out the fact we didn’t get the option rings and after 5-10 minutes the waitress came back and said they had no onion rings. We had to ask other tables for catchup and mustard as this was not on the table and we were not offered any. We had the corn chowder soup which had little corn, but lots of potatoes. It was very spicy which was not noted in the menu. My wife had the sauerkraut soup which had only a little sauerkraut in it. I tried to go to the bathroom, but the 2 small bathrooms I was told about had lines, so we waited until we returned home. Overall, the meal cost over $60 including tip and two drinks. Oh, the band was also a little off key and too load to enable a conversation at our table. It was a fun atmosphere and our waitress was pleasant and tried hard. We won’t be returning.

Terrible experience. Started with watching the hostess and waitress argue while waiting for our table. Second was reprimanded by our waitress for purchasing drinks at the bar while waiting for our table. Told us if we wanted more drinks we must go thru her. Of course, that’s what you do once you finally get seated. Unfortunately she left us waiting for drinks when we were ready to order more We were a party of 5 but were only given 3 menus. Had to ask about the specials. Wanted to order drinks and meal but 3 times were told by our waitress, Michelle, she’d help us after checking on her other tables. Ordered the evening special of prime rib. 20 minutes after ordering g Michelle returned to say they were out of Prime rib. She handed us a menu and walked away. We already had a second choice ready (because same thing happened last time we ate at Arturs) but Michelle left before we could tell her our second choice. Ordered a second option about 5 minutes later. Food was barely warm when it arrived. There were empty tables so it’s not like they were packed. Service was awful. Drinks served without ice. And food was less than mediocre. One person in our party had a burger. That meal was ok.

Stopped on a Monday evening and they couldn’t find our reservation even though we had an email confirmation. Staff was polite but chaos was the order of the night! 20 minutes to get water another 10 to get a drink order taken. Appetizer was spinach dip with a few chips, not worth it! Dinner came after at least three other tables that came after us were served and done. I would bet $100 that the grouper platter I had was tilapia or some other fish it was not grouper! My wife’s eggplant Parmesan was cold and taste less. Waiter was stressed and no need to complain to him I think he would have cried. Got our check and won’t return…sorry.

Went for the polish dish for two, 1st we were asked to sit at the bar because there was a larger party who came into the restaurant at the same time as my husband and I did but there was only 1 (or 2) waitstaff who were available to wait on them. We should have left then! Sitting at the bar to share a meal for 2 was extremely uncomfortable! Our order of the polish dinner for 2 came out wrong so it had to be sent back and added to, we received our side order of perogi’s (which were supposed to be mushroom & sauerkraut) they were potato and cheese perogi’s….the bartender, who was great, told the chef, the chef told him that they have been out of the mushroom and sauerkraut perogi’s since last week. We would have not ordered the extra perogi’s if they let us know that, instead they just gave us the potato and cheese ones AND charged us for them because we obviously had to bite into them to know they were not what we ordered. We finally got the rest of our meal after they had to fix the order, twice! All though the food is very good, what we experienced today with our food orders, especially not letting us know that they were out of the mushroom and sauerkraut perogi’s and just substituted them without letting us know before we bit into them is so wrong!! We tried to explain that to the hostess but she basically ignored what we said and did nothing to adjust our bill. Not sure we will be returning, the debacle we experienced today ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing out to dinner for my husband and I, it was beyond frustrating!

Hello Tanya, We apologize for your experience. We were out of those pierogi's because we get those shipped in from Chicago, and they are very popular. We just got them back. We would love for you to give us another chance and enjoy them. We are really sorry about this situation there is no excuse for it. Also, Hostess has no control over the meal... Please give us another chance and ask for Artur.

Don’t EAT here!!!

Service was OK. Food was terrible mashed potatoes were instant and broccoli. Both were cold and waitress told the kitchen then came back to say the kitchen was sorry that was it. Didn’t compensate the bill. Didn’t ask if there was something else they wanted. Then it was bill time, two couples had cash and one a charge card. They never brought back the coin change for the cash couples. The restaurant kept the change and rounded up the bill to the nearest dollar, Will never eat there again and if they keep everyone’s change at the end of the year they’ve made thousands of dollars or not reporting to the IRS. This has to be illegal to not have change for a bill.

No Good Easter Dinner

We learned Howard's would be opened for Easter. We always had well prepared and great service in the past. This time was a disappointment. The lobster cannelloni was served warm at best without any taste of lobster. My wife's prime rib was at terrible cut of beef. We expected a special meal at the premium prices expected. This was not the outcome. Service was less than than the high standards as we experienced previously at this eatery. Again a big disappointment. There are many restaurants in the Englewood area. Howard's had a time to shine on a special day, and blew it!

Atmosphere is like you’re sitting in a cafeteria, service was sloooooooow, owner not at all friendly or welcoming & bordering on rude - and the food was not good. I had pierogies - supposedly their specialty - they were hard, rubbery, and not flavorful. Honestly, Mrs T’s from the freezer are better!

We visited Howard’s on Easter Sunday. I ordered the Stuffed Cabbage dinner. For 18.95, I received 1 small stuffed cabbage, a little scoop of mashed potatoes and asparagus and a side salad. Food was good , but the portions were too small. My husband’s Prime rib was 29.95. The size was about 6 oz and full of gristle. Baked potato was all shriveled inside. The owners were pleasant people, but our waitress served us 1 cup each of cold coffee. We had to ask if bread was served with the meal, were told there was some in the kitchen. We hate to complain, but these mistakes should be addressed.

This restaurant is delightful. The food is beyond delicious. Four of us had lunch there today: flatbread pizza, pierogies, burger, reuben sandwich. We were so pleased with the food, we will be having lunch there again in two days. The atmosphere is so pleasant, airy and roomy, and the service is perfect. I most hightly recommend this restaurant, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner

Of the six of us eating only two of the meals were prepared acceptably . Four others ordered grouper and it was very undercooked, sent back and still not edible. I will say that the service was very good and the owner, Artur, was extremely apologetic and even offered to comp all of our meals. We declined for a few reasons, but primarily because he was such a nice guy. We will give him another try because we all realize how difficult it is to get and keep good help nowadays.

Worth the wait

We were pleasantly surprised on our first visit to Arturs! The atmosphere and the service were wonderful but the food was top notch. We especially liked the Polish offerings. It took a very long time to actually get the food as they were short staffed the Night we ate there but that is happening everywhere these days. The food was worth waiting for!

100% Polish here, we’re hoping for some homemade,quality type food. Unfortunately all we were offered were Mrs.T’s frozen style pierogis, Hillshire Farm type Polish sausage, even the galambkis ( stuffed cabbage) were tasteless….The only entree that was somewhat decent was the lobster filled cannelloni.They do have a few Polish beers on the menu . Service was good,prices were reasonable.
