Great food - sweet potatoes fries w dipping sauce nice & crispy. Ribs were amazing. Nothing fancy just good homemade food.

Why has it taken us so long try this takeaway?? It was fabulous. Massive portions of incredibly tasty food.

We are regular visitors to Manasota Key/Englewood. I'm a little embarrassed we took so long to try this place. We got whole racks of spare ribs, brisket, loaded tots with brisket, corn bread, pintos, fried okra and collards. The ribs were great. They were fall...off the bone,good smoke, unique, slightly fruity sauce, on the side. Brisket was nice and juicy. The collards were the best I've ever had. The staff is friendly. The kitchen is open to the dining area. Everything was tidy and squared away. We will definitely be back.More

Fantastic, cozy place with very good service. The servings are very big, and the meat is so tender and tasty. Actually they smoke and prepare the food from early morning, which gives the special extra. You will get full here for sure. And I will...be back.More

Jake was extremely welcoming when we arrived and excellent customer service. Ribs were delicious. Brisket was also tasty. would highly recommend this gem of a restaurant.

Brisket sandwich is awesome. Toasted bun piled high with smoked brisket. Loaded tots - smothered with your choice of brisket, pork or chicken. Plus cheese, onion, tomatoes and sour cream. Their warm Texas Sheet Cake with pecan and chocolate topping and topped with vanilla ice...cream is to die for. Next visit I’ll have the ribs. 😊More

Great food; great staff; great service!! Usually do take-out since we live only about a mile away. We especially like the side orders that come with the yummy ribs!

Love this place. It is the best Q I have found in Florida. I was always telling the other BBQ places they needed theTexas Trinity- Brisket, Ribs, And Sausage, this place has it. The only thing they are missing is jalapeno sausage. Honestly their brisket...is almost impossible to beat. Service is always friendly and good. This place reminds me of those great little town BBQ joints you could find in central and west Texas in the 60's.More

We ordered Brisket, ribs,sausage and pulled pork for a neighborhood dinner .The entrees and sides were incredible. The Banana Pudding was incredible. We know why it is a Boca Royale favorite now. Incredibly friendly staff.

I had a brisket sandwich. They give you the option of chopped or sliced which I never had before. I chose chopped and it’s my new favorite way to eat it. The brisket was fantastic and the bun was soft and delicious. So many places...forget about the importance of the bun. I highly recommend it and hope to be back soon!More
