Terrific food, great service, and we ordered extra shrimp and they were insanely good. Grilled on a skewer with a light red/oil sauce -- I could eat them for breakfast! Do not miss out on this terrific restaurant. Everything we had was excellent.
Well worth the trip across the bridge, The Shrimp A La Diabla is to die for! Spiced just right, as in caliente... I also had Ceviche, wife had the Burrito Verde, both excellent. Only wish they had a location in Atlanta!
Most of the time Mexican food tastes about the same but not here. My husband and I shared the nachos with steak, chicken and shrimp. OH MY GOODNESS!!!! I was sad when it was all gone. The staff were very friendly and made us feel...special.More
This easy-to-find Mexican restaurant as popular among locals as it is among tourists. We got the food as take out because we were not at all comfortable with the lack of PPE among the staff and customers. Otherwise, the food was well-prepared, packaged to go...and of very good quality.More
Taco salads we had were average. Prices were reasonable. COVID-19 protection non existent. The ground meat tasted strange and was greasy, the shrimp salad had grilled shrimp on a skewer and was good but difficult to eat.
I’ve enjoyed breakfast here in past years as El Jalisco is one of the few local places serving breakfast. Today I tried lunch and wasn’t disappointed. The lunch menu is very reasonably priced and the quantity and quality can’t be beat. I noticed a card...stating “every hour is happy hour” featuring margarita and beer specials. The staff is numerous working to prepare, serve, and clean tables efficiently. Do be aware that staff was not wearing masks.More
If you like Mexican food, this restaurant is a good choice. The greeter and server were good. Our food took a while to come out but it was lunch time and they were busy. Our grandson loves Mexican food and the hotter the better. He...met his match with the jalapeño that he got with his carne asada. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant. The only negative I could offer is that neither servers nor customers wore masks. Social distancing was absent also.More
