Don't let the outside or inside looks of this place deter you...the food is great! The service was good and pretty fast too. Everyone in our party of 11 was happy with what they ordered!

Trying to find something for a family of 8 to agree on is hard. But, everyone loved eating here. Food was excellent and reasonable. Definitely nothing to look at outside, but, service and food was wonderful.

It's a small place since it's in an old huddle house. Food was decent, nothing spectacular but nothing bad either.

We heard about this restaurant from asking someone in nearby Appalachicola for a good restaurant to eat breakfast. So we made the drive and as we pulled into the parking lot we didn't get a good impression. The outside was very dirty and as we walked to the door it got worse. There was an overflowing garbage can nearby, cigarette... More

The food was good , the service was more grumpy styled. Dont have a look behind the scene. The fridge was crying to get cleaned. The food area was completely messed up. Just close your eyes when u see it as so so many people did. The Restaurant was completely busy, so I was the fussy one . Before we... More

The hash browns w/eggs are good and the huevos rancheros are tasty. Salsa is made in-house and is really good. Breakfast sausage is good as is the service. It appears to be a family operation and the service is fast. Good place for breakfast if in the area.

As the sign out front says "American breakfast, Mexican dinner" and this place was crazy mid-week mid- morning for breakfast. Booths full. Phone ringing with take out requests. Nice variety of omelets and breakfast sandwiches. Opens at 6 am. Will try for lunch or dinner...

For disgusting, cold food, if that's what they call it. Carne asada tasted like oil & everything was swimming in sauce. Do yourself a favor and go to Piggly Wiggly and make your own food.

Had it not been for the Trip Advisor reviews we would have driven right past this place and not looked back. The signage is not good and the placed looked like it was closed. When we pulled up to the building and saw it was open we decided to give it a chance. It was pretty obvious that this was... More

El Jalusco is a family oriented restaurant. The food is very authentic. They make their own sauces. Service is slow but the food is worth the wait.
