Good selection of beers, prompt service, enjoyed sitting at the bar. Lively vibe. Ordered appetisers of calamari and grouper bites/ good portions. The grouper was especially tasty and fresh.

Our first and second times visiting Frenchy's. We liked it so much the first day, we went back the next night. Great wait staff, very busy restaurant. We had to wait for a seat both nights, but it was worth it. They have a great...crew, very efficient, food came quickly. Indoor and outdoor seating. We will go again the next time we are in the area.More

Let me just start this by saying WOW WOW WOW!!!!! We have been here several times but tonight was the absolute best experience. Walking in the staff greeted us so friendly and we were seated right away. Then we met one of the best waitresses...I have ever had in my life. RAIN was so amazing!!!! She was attentive and friendly. She made sure we were happy every step of the way. We never had to ask for a single thing. She was definitely on her game. I had expressed that I love buying their merchandise but normally can’t always find the sizes I need since they sell out so quickly. She literally went “in the back” (not really sure where) and went digging for the sizes I needed in multiple colors and types of shirts. I mean this woman went so above and beyond. The food was fantastic as always and don’t even get me started on my “Outpost Punch”!!!! I look forward to our next visit. Thank you Tain for making us feel like family rather than just a customer!!!!!More

I got kicked out with my service dog. He barked, once, at someone trying to feed him a French fry while at the bar waiting over an hour for a table. Manager is obviously a dog hater looking for reasons. Sorry about my bar bill...but I had to leave 😂More

I'll keep this brief, but this place rocks! My wife and I are from Cleveland and come to Florida often to dine outside whenever we can. We've been to all the Frenchy's locations over the years and I was blown away by the fantastic staff...at the Outpost. Since the pandemic started to ease most restaurants have had trouble finding capable staff, but this place doesn't seem to have that problem. I have never seen a more energtic and friendly bunch of people! The food and drink were great as always, but the young employees were what inspired me. It is so nice to see that there are people out there that WANT to work and they all seemed to have fun doing it. Good job by everyone!More

Frenchys is an outdoor beach type cafe close to beach areas. It has a selection of different foods and drinks. Ate here twice. Both visits were 4 out of 5 for a beach cafe type setting. Great location.

Always top notch food and service. Went there 5 times while we were in Ozona. Love the Cajun mahi- mahi and of course the grouper sandwiches. Always cooked perfectly and have always had great service here!

Before writing this review, I will say that I have eaten at frenchy’s a couple of times & its been very good. But this was my first take-out order, and it will be my last. Ordered takeout from the menu. Ahi Tuna was tasteless. Covered...in a spice which did nothing except cover up the tastelessness. Not very fresh at all. Seafood ceviche was just kind of nondescript. Tiny shrimp which weren’t even cleaned. Overall, very disappointed. I just hope the chef’s at frenchy’s will see this review & offer an explanation.More

Recommend stop for lunch on our Pinellas Bike Trail excursion. I wasn’t sure when we got there, but we ended up sharing the very best spicy grouper sandwich with crunchy fries! Plenty of outside seating. Friendly servers. Grouper was amazing!

Such a pretty place, plenty of parking, tv screens & lights. Deck & inside seating, waited awhile for waitress & food, joint was jumping. Hubby had pulled pork sandwich, I had Hawaiian chicken, both huge & delish. He also had this fish shaped pretzel w/soft...cheese which he liked, also huge. Prices all gone up since last visit, but what's new, thanks Covid. Just glad they're doing well, & we'll be back!More

We were in the area for a week and went to Frenchy's for lunch one day and snack another. The grouper sandwich is so good, but this time I got it without a bun. Still wonderful and the server didn't even bat an eye at...the request. Hubs got the Super Grouper and loved it. The snack day consisted of U Peel 'ems and Pulled Pork Nachos. OMG! We ate too much but loved every bite. Beer and wine cold, Melanie and Jay were wonderful servers and the weather cooperated. Just love this place.More

We've been seeing the signs for Frenchy's and never were near one. Finally we got one. Interesting place and the grouper sandwich was good. Lot of things to choose from on the menu. Very little masking. Lunch on a Monday was very busy and the...weather was cool and blustery. Not great beach weather. Don't know whether the crowd was local, beach goers, or snowbirds (sorry, "seasonal visitors"). We'll take the kids and go back.More

You don't have to love seafood to find something to eat at Frenchy's Outpost, but what a shame if you don't! There are several iterations of various Frenchy's, and we hit this one on our return from Honeymoon Island State Park. As we did on...a previous visit to one of the other Frenchy's, rather than entrees, we ordered a selection of appetizers: the Smoked Fish Spread, Grouper Nuggets, and Coconut Shrimp. We also split a cup of their "secret recipe" She-Crab Soup--and wished we'd each ordered a bowl! As delicious as advertised! Of the other items, all were quite good. I think my favorite was the Smoked Fish Spread, but only by a hair! There are daily drink and food specials as well as regular items--and plenty of land-based food choices, too. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive. Our choice, due to COVID-19, to eat outdoors on a rather cool day was balanced by Frenchy's heaters which made the environment quite comfortable.More

Not right on the water, but it’s a fun place. You’ll need to drive further west to see the water, but there aren’t restaurants there.
