Always pretty busy but not too much to cause large delays. Corner spot on Main St. and Trail makes it handy. Food always up to a good level and fairly reasonable price. Owned by local hotelier who always asks his staff to do their very best.

We really enjoyed our selections at Cafe Alfresco. Especially noted, should be the homemade chicken noodle soup and the Feta Alfresco appetizer. Both were outstanding. The soup had huge pieces of chicken and tasted like my mom's. Others at our table enjoyed their sandwiches as well. We will definitely be returning next time we are in Dunedin. Service was prompt... Stopped for cocktails and appetizers. Excellent martinis. The appetizer menu is limited, but they were good.

My daughter and I and her three children - 6,7 and 10 - ate here for lunch. I was shocked every time the waitress came to the table to ask if we were okay because all of my grandchildren kept emphatically exclaiming "Yes! This is the best food ever! Everything is excellent!" Wow. That has NEVER happened before.

The host and manager keep playing musical chairs with us. They keep asking to switch tables in order to accommodate larger parties walking in. Instead of giving us the service we deserves as paying customers. At frist we understood and was gladly to move but after being ask 3th time is was not funny. Food was fair, service was fair.... We are Floridians, but this was our first tine in Dunedin. We planned pizza, but a clothing store recommended the Alfresco. We had a great fish and local IPA, in a glass gazebo, overlooking mainstreet. I particularly recomnend the Alfresco appetizer. It is almost a meal in itself.

I ate here on my last night in Dunedin. It was a restaurant that we have walked past many times but this was our first time dining here. The restaurant was busy but we got a table quickly, it's worth booking especially at the weekend. Two of our party had lobster salad and two had steak. The food was good... More

Outstanding restaurant in the middle of the Main Street shopping area.. Good food, good bar, good wine selection. We were there for lunch. Dining room is in two sections, inside and outside. Food was excellent and the staff was friendly and efficient.

We frequent this eatery at least 3 times a month. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu but their salmon dishes are great and second only to the desserts! Ask for Dan, Tim or Dave!

I ordered a raspberry martini, and I promise you, there was not one drop of alcohol in that glass. I am sure of this because I am 5'4", 120lbs, and only occasionally order a cocktail. Typically, before I finish a well made drink, that familiar warm, happy feeling is coursing through my veins. Not today. Not even a little. Please.... More
