For years we did take-out from here. This visit we decided to dine in. Owner Lucy is a delight. She makes the entrees first hand. My souse enjoyed her pesto saus on linguini. My serving of manicoti was generous and most tasty. Salad ingredients are...crisp and cold and fresh. Garlic bread is baked just right. Decor is simple and welcoming.More

We were visiting Dunedin and wanted a quick easy meal after the drive. Fast and easy is a Pizza. So I rolled on over and took out a Margarita pie. The pie was definitely acceptable in the taste . The crust was a bit thin...for the amount of toppings on the pizza. But for grabbing something on the go if you want a pie this place is ok. My pie looked just like the picture.More

When I get the urge to enjoy a relaxing evening out with friends and family I know right where to go, I head fro Bambino's. We are always greeted warmly by owner Joanna and her mother Lucy who own and operate the restaurant. They or...their wait staff promptly take your drink orders and serve you large glasses of ice water or your favorite libation along with their extensive menu of savory items including appetizers, soups and salads , pizza, and a variety of Italian dishes that provide a connucopia of culinary delight . Over the years I have learned that really good restaurants do not provide fast service and the reason for this is that they use fresh ingredients, properly prepare and cook your order as top chefs are trained to do. I like to enjoy my libation and chit chat with the members at the table and build up an appetite . I am not in a hurray . I enjoy the relaxation and conversation . It has been our experience over the years that the salads are especially good, be it a side salad or an antipasto for several people. All served chilled and fresh with your choice of dressing. During the cooler months the Italian wedding soup is my wife's favorite. The food arrives and it all looks good and the aroma gets your juices flowing. The family members like to try some of what the others ordered which is always a good sign that they are enjoying the various dishes served. Joanna or Lucy stop by and ask how was everything ? The anwser is the empty plates in front of us which is the best answer that can be given. Bambino's is a three dimensional service restaurant that is far more than just delicious pizza. It has eat in, take out and delivery service . The quality of the food is excellent and the prices are moderate The portions are generous . You get good value for the money you spend. Bambino's---my kind of place for a relaxing evening out wiith family and friends and excellent food ! It's located on Alt 19 just South of Curlew so it is easy to find Give it a try and let me know if this review was helpful for you.More

I ordered take out because we work until 8 pm and didn't feel like sitting in a restaurant that late. I ordered over the phone and asked if it could be ready at 8:20 pm. She said sure that isn't a problem. It was $5...calzone day. 89 cents for additional toppings. The $5 gets you ricotta cheese and other cheese. So ultimately it is 'plain.' We added sausage and banana peppers to 1 and sausage and jalapeno peppers to the other. The jalapeno pepper was considered a 'gourmet topping' which was an additional $1.50 which I did not know about. I was expecting the 89 cents. Not a big deal just wish I would have known as I probably would have ordered differently. I am not sure why jalapenos are considered gourmet since they are very cheap to purchase as the market and you can even grow them in your yard around here. Also, these thinsgs were absolutely loaded with cheese. Ooey gooey cheese, so good! The bummer part was there was not very much sausage or peppers in either one. Again, it's ok but I do wish there had been more. Both of them were cooked perfectly and ready at 8:20 pm on the dot. It was raining cats and dogs when I arrived and the (what seemed to be) owner offered to walk me out with an umbrella. Super sweet gesture to which I declined as there was no sense in her getting soaked. I was already drenched so it was fine. It was SO kind of her to offer though. Staff was friendly and helpful. There was noone else in the restaurant at the time but like I said it was 8:20 pm on a soggy Thursday. Will I return? Absolutely. Would I order a calzone again? Yep! I would probably order double sausage though and then add peppers when I get home. These things were large enough to feed 2 people each. So we have left overs and my mouth is watering as I write this. Great little local place. They deliver for free and be sure to tip your driver because they brought your food to your door.More

I have been eating at Bambino’s for over 5 years. Great Pizza, Lucy’s lasagna is the best. The salads are delicious as well. You can eat in or have it deliver within their delivery area. They catered my Bunco nights several times.

I've lived in the area for 28 years. This is my first visit but I plan to return soon. Pizza ranks in the top 3 I've had.
