I have visited Flanagan's in downtown Dunedin several times over the years, and it was decent, so I visited again for fun with friends. This time, we found that the two bartenders working behind the bar were extremely unprofessional and also rude. No one likes...being treated badly when you are out having a good time. If that wasn't bad enough, the bathroom was FILTHY! I would NEVER eat there after seeing the condition of the bathroom! Even after I let the staff know how bad it was, no one did anything to rectify or clean up the ladies room, which is just disgusting. Two months later and I am still reliving the terrible experience I had at this place. This is my first bad review, but I wouldn't feel right if I didn't warn others to STAY FAR AWAY from Flanigan's in Dunedin.More
Really good Guinness gravy. Had it on fries and poutine. Really good. Service was friendly and fast. Inside and out dining. No Irish Music.
On Friday night after a couple of beers I decided to stop off at Flanagans to take something home to eat. I chose the Shepherds Pie. A Shepherds pie is a flavorful and hearty dish to fill the stomach of a nan with a few...beers in him. As I walked out I noticed that the bag seemed light which troubled me. When I got gone I opened the box to find a very sad fish. Greasy, oily and poorly seasoned and a small portion to boot. Although I was very that was a blessing. Everything I mean everything was bad as it could be. If I was the owner of this pub and my staff sent out food like this then they would be sent out with it. Awful awful awful us all I can say.More
Great location and people Owner is top notch and enjoys his customers Nice place to wind down and enjoy the sights Great food too
Having traveled throughout the UK and Ireland, I know a true proper shepherd's pie is not just ground beef per the typical "pub" in America. This place is amazing! The shepherd's pie is authentic and divine! All the food is. The staff are down to...earth great people and every-time I am in there, I feel like home. I was there yesterday with my Mother and my two sons and we all dined happily. You cannot go wrong! CheersMore
Had a local IPA and bar food (soft pretzels with cheese dip and French fries) with a friend. Our server was very pleasant and responsive. The IPA went down so easy and had a wonderful flavor. It was especially welcomed as the Florida humidity has...returned, very refreshing. The bar food was freshly cooked and was delicious.More
Busy Irish Pub on Main Street in Dunedin. Bar and table seating. Friendly service a bit disorganized when busy. Hearty dishes include Irish Stew, Bangers & Mash, Poutine, Fish and Chips, and of course Guinness on tap. Seems to be a place where locals as...well as tourists congregate. Music sometimes leans towards the trad. Worth a hop off the Jolley Trolley for a visit.More
Flanagans Irish Pub has a great menu to select from. Their food and drinks are fantastic. The wait staff is friendly and attentive.
My friend and I ate lunch here recently. This is a small yet very comfortable pub. We ordered the fish and chips and were not disappointed. The service was satisfactory. There are flags of the Celtic States posted on the wall and the atmosphere is...very Scottish for this lovely Scottish town of Dunedin,FL. I recommend you consider a visit here and order the fish and chips.More
