The Local Market is a little bit of everything. We are a fresh juice and smoothie bar. We serve breakfast all day. We specialize in classic sandwiches with all of our meats brined in house and roasted in our French rotisserie served on homemade bread. We have over 100 craft beers to chose from and a carefully selected extensive wine selection. We are a market that sells local honey, jams, pickled products, and much more. Open from 7am-3pm every day. We look forward to serving you!

Don’t let the price of a sandwich dissuade you. We initally thought $12-14 to pick up a sandwich? Well they are HUGE. Loaded with fresh, flavorful ingredients on homemade bread. Plus a side. We got 4 different things and each loved what we ordered. They did mess up a side which is main reason for 4/5 stars. Watermelon agua fresca is fantastic. If you have choice between $10 “value meal” at a chain sub place or Local Market I highly recommend you make The Local Market your stop.

I drove by The Local Market many times but never knew what was inside. I assumed it was a small selection of overpriced groceries. Then one day after needing a running break, I walked in to get a drink. I was floored. It is a very inviting spacious cafe with some displays of single serve drinks, beverages, wines, beer, preserves, and miscellaneous local items. Mainly, it is a counter order food restaurant with breakfast, sandwiches, salads and daily specials. I made a mental note to return. I’m glad I did. I ordered the Cubano. The pork was slow cooking in a glass rotisserie and smelled like Heaven. Someone ordered the chef salad and the cheesesteak. This had quality bread and all the meats were amazing! My mouth danced with delight with each bite. I tried the pasta salad with feta and the fries which were covered in a flavorful spicy coating. Make sure to stop into this fantastic establishment and take a seat at one if their cute picnic tables. They also have outdoor seating as well and ample parking. This is one of my new Destin favorites.

Great Little Local Cafe

We have eaten there several times and it has always been good. Their avocado toast is delicious. The veggie sami is good, too. Great fries are nicely seasoned and served hot. The watermelon and cucumber drink is very refreshing. Casual atmosphere with outside sitting if you have pets.

The food was ok, nothing special. My biggest issue was the ordering process. I ordered online (we are very covid conscious). Each sandwich had a space for special requests. I asked for no aioli on 2 of them (along with a few other alterations). They honored none of them. I didn't realize it until I got back (20 min away). So then I had a 7 yo who hates mayo refusing to eat his sandwich and it was too late to go back. Anyone who has had a hungry 7 yo melting down knows how that can ruin the rest of the day. At the end of the order, it asked for any other special requests (one of the options THEIR WEBSITE suggested was contact free pick up). I put that in. When I went to pick up, I had to walk to the back of the restaurant past a bunch of unmasked people, then talk to an unmasked employee to get my order. So my order was incorrect and my attempts at safety were ignored. I would never go back.

We tried this spot after a morning at the beach. The place itself it's very cool and funky. You can sit inside or in the shade outside. We had to squish into a 3 top with 4 people because it was crowded. The dishes we loved were the rotisserie chicken sandwich, the avocado and turkey sandwich, and a sausage and egg breakfast sandwich. The dishes that left some to be desired were the French dip and the Philly. The bread was great, but the meat was somewhat tough and dry. The fries are the bomb. They also have 2 lemonades available beside the foundation drinks.

When you walk in, place your order at the register and the food is brought to you. it was not crowded so we easily found a table. The breakfast sandwich with bacon, egg and cheese was really good. The veggie bowl was a bit different with zucchini and additional vegetables, grits, eggs, goat cheese. It was a good break from just eggs for the morning meal. There was too much oil added though. Next time I'll request less oil. Yes, I would eat here again.

A wonderful, quick takeout lunch.

I ordered by phone for takeout and my order was ready as soon as I arrived. I got the chicken salad sandwich on toasted wheat with coleslaw and my husband got the muffaletta with chips. I loved that each lunch was boxed separately so we could grab and go. Everything was delicious except for the coleslaw which needed some mayo or vinegar. It was very dry. I would definitely order from this place again.

Beach Lunch

Wow! The food we grabbed from here was incredibly delicious and flavorful- absolutely perfect to throw in a bag and take down to the beach. The Italiano was amazing- a unique twist on an Italian sandwich. My husband had the French dip, which was also delicious with the horseradish cream. Highly recommend grabbing sandwiches from here for a day at the beach!

Lunch after Worship

We were in Destin visiting friends, and they took us here after worship service. Nice spot, with plenty of seating, and you order at the register, and they will deliver your food. I had the chicken salad which was very good. Big portions, so if you are not very hungry, split with someone.

The sandwiches we ordered really hit the spot. We ordered the chicken melt and the Cuban. I cannot even describe how tasty they both were. They had the perfect balance of everything. I was thrilled by the pasta salad! It has big chunks of feta cheese, and was a lovely addition to the plate. The tater tots were crispy and satisfying, and the potato salad was sweet, but not too sweet. I wish I lived closer. I’ll be dreaming of these sandwiches until next time.

Not a Cuban!

We grew up in Florida and enjoyed Cuban sandwiches often. As you know an authentic Cuban has a very special taste. Their Cuban is NOTHING like the real deal in Cuba or Ybor City. I will describe their sandwich as a mediocre pork, ham, pickle, Swiss cheese and mustard thing. Grilled poor boy subs are no substitute.

No masks by any staff

I heard they had great Cuban sandwiches so called in to order for take out. I will say the sandwiches we all got were good but I Could not get past the fact that none of the staff were wearing masks to protect him selves and their customers. The whole reason I did take out Was to protect myself. I don’t support businesses who are careless with their staff and clients. If you don’t care about Covid enjoy your meal either there or takeout. If you’re an older individual or have a compromised immune system I might tell you to wait.

Big, tasty sandwiches.

Very cute market/ deli with a good selection of sandwiches. Loved the cuban, tender pork , ham , cheese,pickles toasted in a sandwich press. French dip was good, but had a few bad gristle bites. Liked the potato salad, hated the cole slaw. Odd dressing. Counter service is fast and friendly. You can get beer or wine too. They also do breakfast, the menu looked good. Mr

Great sandwhich

I wasn't planning on eating here but was out for a walk and suddenly needed something... So glad I stopped. The Italian sandwich was very, very good. The pickles they gave were to die for. Slightly sweet but also spicy. I would buy them if they sold them. The place is very casual. You go up and order and then take a seat at one ot the long picnic tables they have for seating. The staff bring the food to you. I will be back

Best lunch spot in Destin. There isn’t one thing on menu I haven’t had. The Go-To is the local market club. And for dinner the penne chicken is unreal. Service never fails to be the best. Guess I’ll see y’all tomorrow for lunch!
