In 1984, Louisiana Lagniappe was opened and established inside Sandpiper Cove condominiums in what was at one time the Sandpiper Cove Yacht Club. A loyal following was quickly established due, in no small part, to the quality of the food and the attention to detail of the service. In 1998 The Southern Restaurant Group took ownership of the restaurant with a commitment to maintain the same level of food quality and service. Since then, Louisiana Lagniappe has consistently served only the freshest seafood and steaks. Now open year round, Louisiana Lagniappe is the spot for a memorable dining experience on all levels. In 1999, a second Louisiana Lagniappe was opened in the San Roc Cay Shopping and Marina Complex in Orange Beach, Alabama. Offering the same fine Louisiana seafood with a Creole flair, the attire is casual, yet an upscale waterfront dining experience is provided for the entire family.

Stumbled upon this restaurant last year when we were visiting and go back every opportunity we can! The food is excellent, the setting fantastic and service is terrific. If you get there early enough you can enjoy a table along the windows overlooking the marina and viewing the sunset. The menu has a definite seafood and New Orleans slant but... More

It's been a while since I've been at LL. I forgot how good this place is. The food was great and so was the service. Order the special. You won't be disappointed. When you're in the Destin/Ft Walton area, check this place out.

I wanted a local Gulf restaurant for my business co-travelers and this was a great choice. The seafood was fresh and tasty, and the atmosphere on the water was very nice at sunset. You have to watch the signs in the condo complex when winding back to the restaurant, but it is worth it. Some of the staff have been... More

Tried the "2 can dine" special. Tuna was prepared exactly as requested. Twice baked potato was great. Entire meal was excellent. I feel the kitchen staff "respects the food". Waite staff was friendly, prompt and professional. Dining room decked out in white tablecloths and overlooks the harbour. Room has a calming effect (about half full when we were there). Experience... We have wanted to try this place, but always end up somewhere else. They are having the 2 dine with wine for $49 deal during the winter. Very nice place on the harbor. Not overly fancy, but nice. Bob was our waiter. He was excellent! We had grouper meunière and grouper crevettes($5 up charge). Very tasty meals. I will return... More

I had steak, because only my wife eats fish. The steak spoiled me, because I am not used to eating really good steak. My wife loved her fish, saying it was some of the best she has had. The "Cajun baked potato" was a delight. It was Not spicey (which is good), but very tasty with cheese cooked into it.... More

A hidden gem! White table cloths, with quiet friendly service, located on the bay side of holiday isle. If the weather is nice, ask for a deck side table, with an order of "Grouper in a Bag", very rich, and very filling.

Spent July 14, 2015 birthday dinner at this restaurant. This is the best seafood and steak place in Destin. What impressed me the most was the service. Our waiter was very personable and funny. He made the experience so memorable. We went back two days later. Excellent food and service.
