2 orders of fish tacos (2 smallish tacos per order) with a tiny serving of bland rice and pureed black bean (please don't puree black beans!!!) plus 1 coke and 1 beer was $74. The tacos were $29 per plate so that's $58 for food....How a beer and a coke cost $16 is beyond me. I'm big on tipping but the server took the order and brought the food and never checked back with us. We left 15% and that was overly generous. Bland food and high prices. It is a no return for us.More

This place was pretty good! The chips and salsa were very fresh and the red snapper taco was delish! We liked the queso too. Friendly service.

Stopped in for a late dinner when several other options were closed. Great luck happening to see this in passing! Food was out to table very quickly and service was very good. We shared quacamole, which maybe could have used a little seasoning, and gulf...shrimp fajitas. We hade more than enough food for the two of us and server kept our water filled. Go find LaPaz!More

Monica was our server and she was fantastic! Food was exceptional as always. Will be back for sure! We got in and out quickly at a busy time of year (Spring Break). We stay at SandPiper Cove and the location is extremely convenient.

Service was amazing fast and friendly, but the food was mediocre at best. Rice and beans were trash and meat quality and seasoning was subpar for the price point. Won’t try again.

We stopped here for a drink while on a walk in Destin. They offer a nice variety of margaritas. The drinks come in two sizes small and a more normal size cocktail. I had the Blood Orange margarita. It was delicious though I must warn...you it doesn't taste much like a margarita. My husband had mojito which he said was good as well. He ordered the smaller beverage and i have to say there isn't much there. The drinks are expensive. The larger size drink is over $15. They brought some chips and asked if we wanted to order some queso or guac. We ordered the queso. They queso came in a soup bowl and was pretty full. We each had a couple of tacos as well. The chicken tacos are great as are the steak tacos. The restaurant is a bit high priced. Probably because it is in the land of tourists. It was the first bill my husband blinked at. lol. The queso is $12. We were a little surprised because we hadn't seen it in double digits yet. If they had a Happy Hour I would say it was a must try but I don't think they do. All in all the food and cocktails are good but be ready to spend some bucks.More

From the service to the appetizer fried avocado to the pineapple jalapeño margs to the main dish it was all...a delight. Thank goodness. We’ve been staying at shoreline towers next door for about 7 years and have been sleeping on this place. Not no mo!!!!! We will be back in September.More

I was very pleased with the chips and salsa that they brought out. It's had very good flavor and chunky. I decided to order the street tacos plate. One of each, steak, pork and chicken. The first taco I ate was a chicken and it...was very dry. The second bite of the steak taco had a big piece of gristle. I didn't even try the third taco because I was full already. There was no guacamole or sour cream, only onions and cilantro. Serving sizes looked pretty large on everything I seen delivered. You would have to be very hungry to eat everything.More

First timer. Although, the food was ok it was not delicious and not worthy of a return visit. The place needs a thorough cleaning it looks very dingy and overall, not clean.

Went last night with friends. Definitely has a local feel and not a tourist place. Food was excellent, but service was very slow. Our waiter seemed a little overwhelmed, but friendly. After taking our drink order we didn’t see him again for about 20 minutes....It was busy, but not crowded… maybe he had a off night.More

They were open tonight for limited menu takeout. I couldn’t get why I loved from the past so that is minus one star. We do understand how hard it is to keep staff during the pandemic. Not their fault! Five stars for the fish and...pork street tacos…excellent! And next time we need to order twice as much queso with chorizo… yum!More

Had never been here before but passed by it many times. Glad we stopped. Decor is very interesting and colorful. Staff is very pleasant and professional. Menu is a bit limited but all things we had came out cook perfectly and hot. We both had...fajitas and we left full and very happy. Edson was our server and he was excellent. We will be back!!More
