As my girlfriend is a vegetarian it can get rather complicated finding quality food at many a restaurant. We had no such issue here. From the start the greeter and waiter were more than cordial and helpful. The dishes were exceptional in both flavor and...presentation. The vegetarian curry was hearty, moderately spiced and balanced, and they brought her two types of rice as she was uncertain which she would prefer. My grouper sat atop perfectly fried yuca with a chimichurri sauce, six little neck clams with thinly sliced homemade chorizo. Exceptional! We will return next visit.More

For many years Cabana El Rey has ranked among our absolutely top choices. Superb management led by veteran Cabana manager Mario keeps every aspect of the restaurant focused, kitchen, wait service, phone, internet - most important, food quality. In our dozens of visits over the...years, we and our fellow diners have ordered everything on the menu. Every dish is superb. Our favorite main is the paella marinera (seafood), which we supplement with chorizo (Spanish sausage). To start, we share guacamole and plantain chips with those at our table. We also order Maduros (fried sweet plantains). Sergio was our enthusiastic, efficient waiter. Typical of the waiters Mario selects, trains, and supervises, Sergio is chatty and good humored, without being intrusive. He gladly helps diners make their selections from the large menu. If anything is not exactly right, Sergio gladly returns the dish to the kitchen to perfect it. That was the case last night, when one diner in our party was not satisfied with the preparation of her churaasco steak. Without hesitation, Sergio carefully questioned how she wanted it, then brought a new churrasco out to her within a few minutes. He made sure it was the way she wanted it before he left our table. For all of Cabana’s superb qualities of service and food, the check is quite reasonable. There are many Latin fusion restaurants in South Florida, but Cabana El Rey remains the best.More

We really enjoyed our experience at Cabana El Rey. Interesting menu, drinks (loved the Luxury Mojito!) and service were excellent. Classic Paella was very good as was the vegetarian Coco Cabana. An enjoyable evening.

Very Good service and went at early hour. Food: excellent snapper in cilantro lime sauce entree and grilled octopus app . Paella dry rather tasteless. Delicious mojitos

I have been to this restaurant on two occasions. It's so good! My go to meal is the chimichurri steak, corn cakes appetizer, and sweetened fruit tea. The service has always been excellent as well.

We ordered takeout! The main event was their steak which is always delicious!! It comes w Chimichuri that is only parsley based not the problematic cilantro which for me is a non starter! That sauce makes the dish even more special!! Appetizers are great and...the pork chops are yummy and filling! Reasonable place w Delray Beach Atmosphere!! We will return!! Manager is also a gracious host!!More

Delicious food and location. Paella was fantastic! Didn’t like the pan handler approaching us while at our table, bit this was out of the establishment’s control.

We had a shared plate of overcooked appetizers that were previously cooked and then deep fried “ to freshen them up”. Awful! Burnt! Tasteless!

Plenty of people watching from their outdoor bar. Make sure to try one of their signature dishes the Coco Cabana Dish, you will not be disappointed. Also they have great mojitos & Sangria!

Another great experience at Cabana. Started off with 2 mojitos. Had the Ceviche - it was very fresh. We ordered the Skirt Steak and Paella, both were consistently delicious. Can’t wait for the leftovers! Don’t forget the flan - perfect way to top off my...meal. Cabana never disappoints, def our goto.More

Not one. But, 2 cockroaches right by the table. Also, apparently kitchen staff forgot to add salt to the curry. Side note: I do NOT like my food very salty; but they literally did not season the curry at all. Server was good, but I...told the manager about the 🪳 roaches, and he didn’t seem to care. Gross.More

FANTASTIC PAELLA & SERVICE! Christian took great care of us from the moment we entered. We reluctantly canceled a reservation at a much more expensive restaurant as we liked the “vibe” here. Everything was 5 star. I own luxury rental mansions in Mexico, and the...paella here was as good as the one that my chef prepares. Don’t miss this place!More

Basic cuban fare. Good-sized portions, served hot. I grew up in a Cuban neighborhood in Miami, so if that's your idea of good Cuban fare you will be a bit disappointed. It's a better place to have drinks and tapas outside while people watching.

So...being Sunday, my wife and I attempt to have a perfect day...off from work, honey-do's and hosting other people at our home. We snuck away to Delray Beach and found the best, private at noon brunch spot. We enjoyed sangria, paella and the tropical salad....Diego was attentive. People watched and listened to Lamborghini's rolling by on Atlantic and birds chirping...and music had us in Costa Rica!More
