Saw the Cuban food in Delray Beach. Good paella, Excellent shrimp fritters and Maduros, tasty empanadas. Ceviche was tough but tasty.

I ordered Mariscadas served with rice and black beans as an accompaniment to shrimps, clams, mussels, sea scallops, and salmon simmered in a tomato garlic broth. My husband opted for the Pollo a la Parrilla. The mojito was refreshing with a surprise slice of sugar...cane as a stirrer. The waiters/waitress were friendly and customer focused. A great experience.More

The food tastes the exact same as the location in queens. My wife and I have been going for two decades. The atmosphere is awesome, the people are awesome, and the food is always awesome. We drive up from Miami as often as we can....The menu is classic and NEVER needs to be changed.More

Everything on the menu is terrific, from our experience. Over the years, we have taken many friends to Cabana. They all agree with us about Cabana - wonderful food, great service, reasonable prices. Our personal favorite meal is plantain chips and guacamole as a starter,...paella marinera (seafood) with added chorizo, and fried plantains (madras) on the side. Rozi was our server, friendly, helpful, and efficient. All the staff at Cabana El Rey are well trained and closely supervised by long-time manager Mario and his sidekick Jose.More

We have been eating at Cabana for years (10+). During the pandemic we even made a few round trips just for take out- more than an hour but so worth it. Today was our first outside dining since March and this is where we chose...to go. We even got our favorite waiter- Diego! When family comes in from out of town, this where they ask to go. My 10 year old son stated on the way home that it’s his favorite place because they have the best food and the nicest people.More

Every year we visit Florida East coast, we travel to this restaurant. Very easy to make a reservation, very friendly stuff, delicious food, well-sized portions, and specials are always amazing!

Delicious churrasco and ceviche! This is a great place to go for “elevated” Cuban/Latin food. The ceviche included shrimp, octopus, calamari and scallops. It was a generous portion of very fresh-tasting seafood for two of us to share and served with fried plaintain and yuca...chips. The mojitos we ordered were delicious and beautiful, if a little small. We decided to split the ropa vieja, but our waiter (Fabian, I think was his name) suggested we consider the churrasco instead. So glad we did! I often find in restaurants that thin cuts of steak end up dry and overdone by the time they get to your table. Not here! The steak was perfectly done, juicy and served with a great chimichurri and pickled red onion. A great meal and great service.More

When in Florida, I typically expect bad service. I was shocked how wonderful and attentive the service was here. Our waiter Angelo met our every need with grace, and was incredibly warm and polite. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We ordered a pitcher...of mojitos and they came with a stick of sugar cane. I've never seen that before, but it was a lovely touch and the mojitos with all the fresh mint went down very easy. We got Peruvian mojitos with pisco instead of rum and I HIGHLY recommend it. We ordered the ceviche and it was delicious. The la playa salad was exquisite with beautiful and delicious grilled shrimp and scallops and the tangerine salad was delicious as well. Everything that came out of the kitchen was so beautiful it was difficult to pick what to order. The prices for everything were also very reasonable for the area. I will definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat well in Delray.More

a mojito is muddled mint leaves, some lime juice, ice, several ounces of cheap white rum, some sweetener topped with a bit of club soda.
