Roaches - Where there is one there is 101, 1001 etc. AVOID THIS Place

Went here to meet a friend for breakfast - ordered 3/4 of the way done a roach was walking across the table - immediately called over anyfreakingbody - been to over 500 restaurants in 10 years and never once has this happened until today. The...waiter called the manager - he avoided and when I confronted him and said we are not paying for this meal and I will report this place to the health dept, he screamed I was threatening him and then he walked over to the cashier and QUIT. WOW - and I will repeat where there is one roach there is 100 and then 1000 and so on and so on - TAKE HEED go elsewhereMore

Terrible Thanksgiving dinner

Terrible Thanksgiving dinner... never again ! We decided to try poppies for Thanksgiving this year and it was a big mistake. The chicken soup was sour ;we could not eat it. The turkey was mediocre and dry and the potatoes and vegetables were nothing special....We will never plan Thanksgiving dinner at poppies again and neither should you .More

Terrible food, terrible customer service.

Ordered Matzah Brie with nova and onions for pickup. Takeout box barely contained 5 bites worth of Matzah and no nova or onions, manager refused to talk to me. DON'T RECOMMEND, better service at McDonald's.

Rude greeter Darlene

Our family has been visiting Poppies for years. Always great service and reasonable. But lately they have been having Ms. Darlene as a greeter and sitting people, but her service includes a tertible attitude and disrespectf to customers. We are very disappointed this issue has...not been addressed, yet. Not good for business. Maybe the kitchen, loading dishes would be a better fit for her unprofessionalism and lack of manners.More

LUNCH FOR WORK

I ordered a Rachel - a pastrami melt with Russian dressing (I didn't want the sauerkraut). It came with a side. (I had a very nicely cooked sweet potato) The sandwich was so big that I took half of it home - along with the...matzoh ball soup and dessert which also came with the dinner version that I had chosen. So, I had a very nice meal the next day too.More

Classic Deli with Delicious Selections

This large, comfortable and busy deli features everything you would expect in a great deli. Portions are big and everything is prepared well. Attentive servers and and overall a great place for breakfast,lunch or a deli sandwich.

Love the Kippurs and Onions

Went in with Mom and cousins. Mom always orders the Kippurs and Onions with Eggs. Yum. She chews on the bones to get all of the meat. I love the Pastrami Sandwich with Potato Pancakes. The omelettes are great too. Service is friendly and the...food is awesome. They are busy and worth the wait. Wish I lived closer.More
