This is the second time we have dined at La Cigale. The first time was for a private party. We were impressed to the point that we decided to return for a table service dinner. There were eight of us in our party. Our reservation was honored and we were seated immediately upon arrival. The drinks we ordered were "full... More

Nice quite, great service. Dover Sole was very good and the Lemon burr blanc was delious. Creme burlee was excellent. We shared the French onion soup which was also very good. My husband had the snapper special but was not crazy about how it was prepared but it was still good. Very nice couples dinner

Solicitous service and delicious food in a special occasion atmosphere. Portions were not very small as one sometimes finds in a French restaurant. Only disappointment were the non-descript desserts. As it's al a carte I recommend soup or appetizer instead. Particularly on a weekend, reservations are essential.

We had an absolute first class experience and on a Saturday night at Brasserie La Cigale. I had the filet mignon and onion soup. My partner had a seafood appetizer and a seafood entree. A fabulous glass of Bordeaux suggested by our server topped everything off in a first class manner. The experience was expensive I agree but memorable!

Can't speak to the entire menu as this was a special prix fixe menu for our Rotary Club annual installation dinner, but everything was really great. Started with a Caesar salad (other choices were vichyssoise or chicken liver pate--both of which I was told were very good) and had a lovely shrimp/scallop pastry with julienne vegetables in a wonderful butter/white... Let me start by saying that French is not my favorite unless of course I am in France and eating pastries but this place is one of the best French restaurants in Florida. The onion soup was perfect. They also had a Mussel cream soup that was not great but possibly due to it not being served hot enough. The... More

Came for a light dinner. Reservations made but not needed as only 2 other tables occupied (off season here). We just ordered a couple of appetizers each. My husband was served his two appetizers at the same time which we asked for but mine were not served. Finally had to ask as to where my order was? Did they think... More

This was our first visit to this restaurant and we were not disappointed. After looking at the 3 course Summer special at $32.00, and this looked very good, I then eyed the Seared Foi Gras and Escargot with Mushrooms and these two appetizers were my eating enjoyment. The Seared Foi Gras was perfectly done and one of the best that... More

This is a lovely restaurant in the old school tradition. Not "cutting edge" with loud music. You are greeted by a professional and seated with white tablecloth service. Pastas are delicious and the specials are usually great too. The staff are experienced and will direct you to a good wine. If you want a place with valet parking NOT on... More

Went there tonite to give it a try based on the reviews here, and from neighbors that recently went. Well, we were not disappointed. The endive salad was outrageous, the calamari were one of the best ever and the escargot topped the meal. Never got to the entrees since we wanted to sample the appetizers. We started with the lentil... More
