Our friends took us to Papa's Tapas for dinner the other night. Such a good pick. SUCH a good pick! We were able to be seated right away (we called on the way over). Cute little place. Definitely not large but I enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. It was also good that we were able to talk with each other and... More

There's good food here beyond tapas. I got the grilled chicken breast lunch special. The chicken was topped with grilled onions, sliced mushrooms, and sundried tomatoes, and was accompanied by sides of yellow rice, black beans, and fried plantains. Lots of food and quite tasty. I'd order this again. At $11 before tax and tip, the meal was reasonably priced.... More

Excellent sangrias, tapas are the best. Try rice and black beans. As a vegan we have our choices. Friendly

Warm friendly service and great food. Paella excellent and veggie quesadillas are out of this world. Great sangria, both red and white.

We ordered 5 tapas - 4 of them (Spanish omelette, shrimp in oil, empanadas, meatballs) were spot on, the pulled pork on bread was nothing to write home about. Nice, cozy ambience

We tried the Brussels sprout tapas. Excellent! And the cheese tapas also good choice. The busy restaurant was full of diners choosing mussel and meat tapas. We also enjoyed the fish main courses the portions were large, so while mating we skipped dessert. Service was friendly without being pushy. Will return.

This was our second visit to this restaurant and the food is just great! I like the fish prepared here in Spanish style. We had Sangria which usually turns me off as it is too sweet for my taste. But on this occasion it was delicious and went well with the fish I ordered. There was rice and plantains as... More

At this point, we have been to so many of the eateries near Atlantic Avenue that we almost expect service connected with a resort area crowded with tourists - competent, but rushed and impersonal. Here, the owner's daughter came over for a friendly chat (after being very welcoming during an earlier telephone reservation call). This set the tone for a... More

We try to have tapas in every town we visit, and were very happy with Papa's Tapas. What a great menu they have there! It was hard to eschew the paellas and seafood dishes, but we finally settled on 5 different hot tapas; the favorites were the sizzling grilled octopus and the roasted brussels sprouts in a honey sauce. But... More
