I have to admit I have enjoyed eating here in the past and was totally disappointed in my overall experience.. not sure I will return! Really bad service....waited almost 30 minutes past my reservation...and then seated by the bar where the bar patrons hung over my table. Food just so-so. Ordered from the $35 menu which really is not $35... More

This is our 'go to' restaurant for ourselves and for who ever shows up for a night out. The small plates can make a great dinner alone. Come on Sunday for the fried chicken, worth the extra calories.

Went for Downtown Delray Restaurant Week . August 1st to the 7th. Max's had s 3 course meal from their regular menu not a special event only menu for $ 35. Dwane was our waiter, engaging and knowledgable. Started with crispy mushroom, hen of the woods mushroom with a salsa verde over melted Boursin cheese, very good and unusual. My wife... More

They have some of the most creative and authentic food in Delray. I have been for lunch and dinner but I think brunch is the best. It's always a lively crowd on Sunday. I have taken my family and friends here when they come in from out of town and they rave about the food. Also they were great in... More

Restaurant serving presumably local fare. The food is quite good, but the restaurant itself does not quite live up to its 'upscale' positioning: there is a valet parking, but beer is served in cans and I had to actually ask for a glass.

My wife and I and a friend ate in Max's Harvest on a rainy night a couple of months ago. The restaurant's ambience was excellent and so was the service. The food was fresh and excellent. We had several appetizers (each better than the other) and entrees and desserts. All dishes were made from local products and were not the... More

This is the first time I can remember walking out of a 4 star plus rated restaurant. It was July 4th weekend and we were spending it at a hotel in Delray Beach. We decided to go to Max's Harvest but didn't have a reservation. The hostess asked if we had reserved a table and we said no but the... More

Excellent food in a corner in Delray. The broccoli that tastes like hot wings is a very interesting dish. Overall a very pleasant surprise. Good ingredients, honestly cooked.

Met another couple at Max's Harvest for dinner Saturday night. Had reservations. It is small and this is important if you don't want to sit outside or wait a long time. We still waited a bit but not much. We are all 4 adventurous eaters, not picky and this was an odd menu. Hard to read and not many choices.... More

One of mine favorites Restaurants in Delray! I am a Vegan and I they always make a special meal that is not on the menu! Of course I call ahead and give them one day to prepare! Great service, amazing drinks and of course delicious exquisite food at a great location. Reservations required as they are very busy! A special... More
