Jimmy's has been around Delray for awhile which is quite hard to do, and it is evidenced by the food, which is very well done. A good eclectic mix of menu items all done with the expertise of a well trained chef, you will not...be disappointed with the ever changing menu selections and most notably the fresh and locally sourced seafood. Highly recommend the Ceviche if available as well. What it has in food it lacks in atmosphere and quality of the restaurant. If you walked in without knowing anything about the food or its reputation, you may be apt to do a u-turn. The furniture and layout is basic and dated. An update here is greatly desired.More

We were recently down in Delray for a couple weeks. Had been to Jimmy's several years ago, loved it then. So we went back again, twice in about 8 days. It has only gotten better throughout the years. Both nights my wife and I started...with the pear, arugula and blue cheese salad. Why change from a perfect starter... And it was large enough to easily share. Our server, Julie, kept bringing us warm baguette throughout the meal. She also helped us with the wine pairings. She has been there as long as we have been going, like maybe 10 years or so. Her helper, Eric, was running the food to all the tables. The place is very small, and with Covid rules in force, there were only 4-5 tables. Cozy but distanced. The first night, I had the yellowtail snapper, caught that morning, on a bed of rice, with grilled veggies. So good. They served me 4 small fillets and it was the perfect size. Ate too much bread so we skipped dessert. The second night, I ordered the half duck. KILLER good !!! And a huge portion. I can't wait to go back to do the duck again. Julie said it is their # 1 seller. I now know why. I have to stress again that the value here is fantastic. It's not cheap, but the quality / quantity / service ratio is in the diners favor. Keep up the good work Jimmy. We will be coming back soon !!!More

My wife and I dined at Jimmy's on Valentine's Day. Though we've dined at the restaurant before, it seems to only have gotten better. They have some of the freshest fish being served anywhere and it is prepared perfectly. The fish ceviche is incredible and...highly recommend it. Though the restaurant was bustling, and the tables are quite close together, my wife and I had no trouble carrying on a conversation and the pacing of the meal was great. They are so many great choices of entrees, our conclusion is to return soon so we cant try some more.More

Small, intimate, delicious. Menu hasn't changed a lot over the years, but it is all good. We make our reservation well in advance. Parking can be a challenge, though they are now using the valet around the corner. I parked behind Doc's without trouble. We...love Jimmy's, making this one of our traditions.More

Excellent choice of food with a variety of choices posted on a board over the bar. The place is quite small, but cozy, and the service very responsive. Definitely a quality place but can get crowed on seasonal weekends.

Absolutely fantastic dinner! Braised short ribs, skirt steak were fantastic. Appetizers and desserts were also great. Small Bistro with great food. Jackie our server was great. Good wine selection.

I met my brother at Jimmy's Friday night at his recommendation, and the parking was awful, but the food is amazing! I had the tomato bisque soup as a starter, and my brother, his husband and my husband shared the conch fritters and the dumplings...and everyone was raving. I had the Chicken Fried Chicken, which was a filet of chicken with just the right amount of breading with homemade mashed potatoes, asparagus and gravy! My husband had the raviolis, my brother had the duck and my brother-in-law had the Schnitzel. The service was amazing, the atmosphere was so comfortable and just a wonderful evening!More

Jimmy's is our favorite restaurant in Southern Florida. We dine out some 5 times a week. The food is our favorite - But so is the staff. Julie runs the show and could not be any nicer or more accommodating. Be sure to make a...reservation, because there are many others that love Jimmy's too.More

I understand that the ingredients are obtained locally. Vegetables are grown locally. Seafood is caught locally. It’s a “farm to table” concept. We had the homemade Mozzarella and Tomato appetizer. It was ok, but, needed salt (not offered unless requested) for both my taste and...that of my Wife. It’s was just ok. Entrees were Swordfish and Snapper. Both were very fresh, but, not particularly tasty. Side vegetables were also very fresh and would usually be my Wife’s favorite, but, she was disappointed and frankly, left them on the plate, as “not worth eating”. Meal was “ok”, but, to us, not worth the hype.More
