I traveled throughout the Caribbean extensively while in the military and have longed for the flavors since leaving 20 years ago, seeing I live in the deep South in America. No where has come close to duplicating what I remembered, except......Bamboo Fire. On top of the bomb Curry Grouper (recommended by the waitress, because I was going for the Jerk),... More

Bamboo Fire Cafe is a Five Star "get authentic homemade Caribbean food" gem that is unlike any of the overpriced, over-hyped, pompous, sterile restaurants on Atlantic Avenue. This is a husband and wife run team that personally greets every customer that is lucky enough to grab one of their limited tables. They are located on 4th Avenue a few blocks... More

2nd time we ate here. Got food to go this time . Oxtails with rice and peas were delicious. We also ordered lobster Mac and cheese, which was made with orecchiette, so good. Plenty of food . Will definitely be back. Thanks for the great food

Such a wonderful little gem in a sea of overpriced, self-conscious and pretentious restaurants! The owners will probably take your order and serve you themselves, If you are lucky, they will treat you to an after-dinner shot of Guyanan rum. We all loved our food, especially the savory and dark sauced pepper pot oxtail that is made by the owner... More

A very small restaurant serviced by a lovely family. Mom in the kitchen creates wonderful Caribbean cuisine. Jerk chicken was delish. My husband had the fresh fish curry, he was ummming through the meal. Be prepared for some strong spice. The plantains were fab. We will return.

My husband and I eat here often and love the flavorful food prepared by Beverly and her staff. My husband loves the jerk pork or chicken and I prefer the fresh fish. This is a small family run restaurant. The service is not rushed and you feel like you are on island time. They only serve beer and wine but... More

This little restaurant was very enjoyable. Maybe 6 tables inside and patio seating. Family run, friendly, attentive service. Started with tostinos and eggplant dip. Both delicious! Diner was cracked conch that was good and hog snapper baked inside banana leaves with great seasoning and veges. Hog snapper was excellent. It smells spicy when you walk in but the food was... More

My husband and I have been here each time that he has been to Delray Beach on business. This is a great off the beaten path restaurant. The food is excellent, but the family that owns the restaurant is what brings us back. We particularly love the daughter who has been our waitress the past couple of visits. She has... More
