After driving up and down Atlantic Avenue looking for an open place for breakfast we decided to stop here, despite the mixed reviews. I am giving the three stars for the service because that was the only thing going for it and was very friendly...and efficient. The menus need a refresh. They are yellow and dingy. Not a great first impression. My husband and I both ordered the all American breakfast. We ordered eggs over easy but these eggs were very undercooked. I definitely enjoy a runny yolk but I don’t want the white oozing into my yolk and all over my plate. I also had the fresh fruit which was canned pineapple, several day old cantaloupe. Just not my idea of a fresh fruit cup. Very disappointing. Not so sure it should be that difficult to cook eggs and cut up fresh fruit. Will be on the lookout for a different place for breakfast during our stay here.More

Outdoor seating. Not crowded when my wife and I came for breakfast. Covid protocols not in effect. Nice weather. We got the All-American breakfasts, which consisted of eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, toast. Lots of food. Good service.

We went for brunch and both had the surfboard which is a small lobster roll and an a crab cake. The food was very good and the service was fine. Try to go o my a nice day- the seating mostly seemed to be outside.

Had breakfast and the food was ok-not worth repeating and the hostess had major attitude-which is weird because it isn't a South Beach nightclub. The place did have a great musician playing the saxophone-he was terrific-our waitress was ok and the food was ok-there are...ton of better places for breakfast in Delray Beach-feel free to skip itMore

We stopped in for breakfast since we had heard good things from friends. Our breakfast was just okay. My eggs were over cooked and the brie appetizer was not melted all the way. The center of the brie was solid and cold. In addition it...had very few pecans. I love brie so we ate it, but not exactly what we expected.More

I reviewed the reviews and so decided to dine here for breakfast. When we arrived it was pretty busy so put our name and we’re called within 15 minutes. Upon sitting down, we were promptly greeted by our waitress. Initially the service started good but...as the we were having our food the service became pretty spotty. The coffee and our food was very good, from the chicken and waffles to the crab cakes it was on point. I ordered a peach mimosa but it was not very good. Overall, good food but spotty service.More

Enjoyed breakfast at this little spot over the bridge (literally). It does not have any indoor seating but they have a dining area in a courtyard (there are tables out front as well). I was able to make a reservation for a small party and...we were seated right away. The table was all happy - chicken an waffles (with a non traditional chicken tender that made the dish easier to eat), ABC sandwich which was huge and standard eggs and toast (and tater tots!). The food was warm and prepared well, service was friendly and it was a nice break from the over-priced, rich restaurants along the strip. Highly recommend.More

Early flight to West Pam airport left us hungry with time to kill before rental was available in Pompano Beach. Saw good reviews and outside dining so we made a reservation and drove there for brunch. Very diverse menu. Followed the excellent advice of Gabriel...our very helpful waiter. We ordered the pecan bacon sticky bun... which was outstanding! We thoroughly enjoyed the avocado toast, mushroom toast and crab cakes with eggs. We also ordered the coffee which was delicious... I point this out because I am often disappointed by restaurant coffee I highly recommend going here and hope to return soon.More

We were very disappointed with our choice. Avocado toast with house made bruschetta. No. It’s an avocado sandwich with onions and tomatoes. Fondue? Melted cream cheese. Out of the 4 items ordered I can’t say any one of them stood out. Add to that hectic...and very poor service it just isn’t worth it. Save yourself the stress and choose a different option.More

In December of 2019 we had an excellent breakfast experience. In March of 2021 we were in the area and made it a point to return to the cafe for lunch. We were very disappointed. We ordered the avocado bruschetta toast. It was minimalist at...best (see picture), with no avocado or bruschetta. I ordered “The Roll,” a lobster and shrimp roll. It was 10% lobster at best at $18. My wife ordered the “Frenchman” sandwich and the Brie cheese was mostly rine (see picture). We mentioned this and the response was simply, this is how we do it. We won’t return. If you’re in the area, we recommended Sweetwater, Rocco’s Tacos, and Brule Bistro. Good luckMore

One of the best features of the Over the Bridge Cafe is the outside dining area. It is covered and you will often find a nice breeze. The servers were very pleasant, but get very busy. My food was fine but fairly standard. I was...disappointed at the temperature of some of the plated items like the sausage. Nonetheless, it is a nice place to sit outside and enjoy the weather.More

Stopped here for a late lunch and was looking for a place to sit outside. Menu here was a great mix of traditional and unique. Crab cake with egg (I can't remember what they called it) was great as was the flat bread. Draw back...was the very slow service. Server apologized and comped us a drink even though we hadn't complained.More
