I love the idea of this place so much. But, if I am paying $12 for someone to make me grilled cheese it needs to be amazing, and it is just a grilled cheese sandwich. They have some interesting things paired with grilled cheese, but in...More

Basically a grilled cheese restaurant and full bar. Sandwich selection was ok, nothing too unusual. Sandwich came with either Cole slaw(very good), chips, or salad. We were given a complimentary small soup and it was tasty. One diner said brisket was sliced too thick for...More

Totally unimpressed. Spent over $46 (including tip) for a chicken sandwich and two flat grilled cheese sandwiches filled with basic macaroni, all on what seemed to be boring sandwich bread. $11 for a grilled cheese with a ketchup sized container of "soup" and coleslaw? Crazy...More

Here is the web site for the place. It includes a link for the menu. And don't miss happy hour every day from 4-7.

YOLO Bar & Grilled Cheese is a modern comfort food and cocktail bar with a relaxed atmosphere and vintage decor. This is the bar you've been waiting for. The best elements of the modern bar scene all in one place! Comfort food and cocktails with an extensive spirit collection and exceptional hospitality! We serve outstanding comfort food and cocktails in a comfortable atmosphere with a vintage decor and we do so with exceptional hospitality. Our guests are what is most import to Yolo Bar & Grilled Cheese, not labels. That is why we let our great food and drinks do the talking for us! Our sandwiches as well as our other menu items are all made with fresh, quality ingredients, though you will never hear us refer to them as gourmet. Our shelves boast an extensive spirit collection and our cocktails are made with fresh juice that is squeezed in-house daily but you will never hear us use the word craft. Our bartenders and staff continue to educate themselves and share their knowledge with our guests but they are simply bartenders and professionals- not mixologists or bar chefs. We're willing to place our food and drinks on the table alongside of any one else of a similar category, but we serve ours up on metal cafeteria trays with plastic-ware and in fun vintage, mix-matched glassware with no pretentiousness. You will always be welcome inside our walls and you will never see a menu item that you aren't familiar with or that a staff member can't inform you about with a smile. You only live once, so eat like a kid and drink like a king! Enjoy yourself comfortably in a judgement free environment and come on in!
