This was maybe the only time I ever got take out and felt like I owed the restaurant money, returned with an extra tip later in the evening becausenit was so good. Jerk shrimp and chicken were great, as were the fries, rice and beans....Undercover awesome was also the slaw. There was so much food we ate it on the car ride hime all the way back to Buffalo, NY. The slaw was crisp and delicious the next day. I showed up a bit early to pick up my order, had a beer while I waited and was disappointed when my food was done because I enjoyed talking to the staff so much. Great value. There is a much higher priced place across the street with amazing food and a great view which I do not regret eating at but...if I came back for 6 days again next year, I would eat here 5 of them. I regret we waited til the final night to eat there, almost went for the akee and saltfish in the morning as it is my favorite breakfast, but we had to bounce early. Tried other spots in town, food was pretty good everywhere but this place was on another level. We have eaten at some pretty authentic backroadsy places is Jamaica, and while you can never replace that vibe this food is just as good, and the people were so nice, I just cannot say enough about them. Wish them and their business nothing but continued success. Place was spotless and well distanced, no concerns whatsoever and we are fussy Yankees like that. Much love and respect.More

Found this place because we parked in the parking garage in back of it. We were hungry and liked what they had on the menu. Had the Jerk chicken, rice and peas and steamed veggies. It was dellicious!!!! Very authentic Jamaican flavors. Wonderful flavors. Owner...Shane and Chef Kevin we're very nice. Also had the cold coconut. The entire meal was delicious. We will definitely go back again.More

Super nice staff, awesome food, perfect amount of spice all at a reasonable price. We had the jerk chicken dinner and the curry chicken, both were amazing. We’re returning with friends in November and will definitely make the trek from Lauderdale by the Sea.

The staff are super friendly and accommodating. I had the curry chicken dish with rice and veggies - yummy! The portions are generous. It felt like I was eating at my auntie’s place - authentic, home-made food and ‘warm’ atmosphere.

Fantastic spot to have a great meal late night or early evening. When u walk in the owner greets u with a warm Carribean welcome. The food is DELICIOUS!!! The ambience makes u want to sing reggae songs and sip on ice cold beers. An...absolute treasure. I highly recommend the curry shrimp with a side order of tostones(fried green plantains)More

Had some time to kill before paddling out and surfing with my son. Had this place on my radar for a while but finally had the perfect opportunity to try it out. The place was so clean I thought they were closed due to hurricane...Dorian. The help gave us some ideas based on our preferences and we ended up sharing a jerk chicken sandwich and a platter that included jerk shrimp, jerk wings, and meatballs. The food was delicious and servers were friendly. Flavors were good and not too spicy but I believe I was sweating just a little bit 😌. I would recommend giving it a try if you are near Deerfield Beach!More

Tropical grill was recommended to me by a local. It was wonderful! The service was excellent. They took the time to explain to me what different items were, how spicy to expect; I was just so impressed.
