We had been boating and were hot, and had a long drive ahead of us, so it was nice to have a relaxing place to eat.It was about 5pm on a weekday, no waiting. We ate inside. I had the pulled pork tacos (2), which...were very good and very filling.More

We have been here a year ago. Today was completely different experience not in a bad way just different. The hostess station was messy with ice waters all over including empty cups (staff cups). The hostesses were a bit chaotic and one was a bit...rough on the edges. I don’t think she was rude I just don’t think her customer service voice has developed yet. We waited 15 minutes for a table which is acceptable to us. Amanda, our server, was great!!! Attentive and friendly. Knew how to space checking on us with good updates as well as more drinks and making sure food was good. We ordered gator bites which were cooked as they should be. The sweet and spicy sauce on the side has a kick. He has the fried fish sandwich with side of coleslaw. He enjoyed it very good. Our 12 year old got the pineapple teriyaki chicken without the pineapple but with rice and fries. She liked her dinner a lot. My husband thought the chicken was a little dry but she disagrees. I chose the fish tacos grilled. The pico is just blah. It needs more citrus in it. The “sauce” had not flavor either. I put lemon on it which was perfect. I love fish tacos and they could have something special if they tweak the recipe. No dessert. Too full. The guy playing music outside downstairs drowned out our table conversation. Overall I’d go back again. Why? I like the atmosphere. Laid back and riverside. Perhaps next time I’d chose outside to sit.More

Wife's sister was visiting from Colorado, so we thought she'd enjoy a nice Florida-style restaurant. We had Conch Fritters as an appetizer - very good. Drinks were a maragarita for sister-in-law, and Key Lime Martinis for wife and myself - we love those. Dinner was...Coconut shrimp for the girls and I had the blackened mahi - all very good. The only thing I can ding them on was that the baked potato could have been hotter - I think it was slightly undercooked but it still tasted good so I didn't say anything. Server was a sweetheart.More

My new favorite spot!! Let’s start with the setting which provides a beautiful view of the St. John’s River. Our server was extremely friendly and very attentive. The food was excellent and well prepared. We started with fried green tomatoes which were perfectly fried and...ripe, not hard and crunchy like most restaurants. We also tried the corn fritters which were literally the best hush puppies I’ve ever had. Very rich, dense and dusted with just the right amount of powdered sugar. Then we had the house made pulled pork tacos which were very flavorful and topped with crunchy coleslaw and bbq sauce. My husband had the Swamp House burger cooked perfectly medium with a nice char on it. Great atmosphere, family friendly and just an overall great experience. We will definitely be back!!!More

The view of the river is the best thing about this place food is ok and a little pricey. But the workers/ waitress worst ever I guess with that view you get away with bad costumer service. Only hope management will fix the problems!!!

Other than our server girl did a great job, the food is awful including their ice tea. Very disappointed after laying 60.00 down on lunch. Don’t get the fried shrimp, pork stuffed potatoe skins, cold slaw, onion ring things or the grouper sandwich. It all...was gross and the grouper mahi-mahi and extremely dry. Place is a dump inside. Gross that we could see mold and broke windows and plastic. This place is ripping off tourist and giving Florida nature a bad taste Maybe need a new manager or a manager at all. Never saw one, no manager ever stopped by our table. Place just plain sucks. Won’t be recommending to any of our local friends in OrlandoMore

We stopped in for lunch today. We have been here several times before, always pleased. They have an upstairs dining room and open air seating below. We opted for the open air, picnic table under an umbrella, comfortable with a cool breeze. I had the...Smothered Grouper, very good, a large fillet covering a bed of rice topped with creole shrimp sauce, almost like a gravy. My wife had the Mini Nightmare Burger(without the bun, low carb diet). She did allow me a bite, mushrooms, cheese, grilled onions and bacon cooked to order. That's the way it's supposed to be, especially if you can't decide on toppings, get 'em all! As always the service is good the food is delicious. I believe they provide a way to download a touches menu on your phone, beyond my tech skills. The tables are physically distanced. Hope to see ya there!More

Love sitting out under the magnificent oak trees just watching the river flow north and loving family time!!! The food was delicious as always but the service was a bit off...one person started our orders and then there were a few others that stepped in...and somehow things got a bit confusing and we were left service less for a bit. No one asked how our food turned out and the girl that did come over grabbed a glass to refill with water and took off faster than we could catch her to also fill another drink. All in all it is a great place but they must have had an off day.More

Bro, just go there. It's an amazing venue with a stellar view. The wait staff is patient, knowledgeable, and efficient. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. Visit, and enjoy the experience now ok?
