This review is a combined evaluation over two visits. The first visit was a special event, wife's birthday, with a large group... the second was a quiet dinner for two. The first visit we all had an item off the German menu, everything was delicious from the salad with hot bacon dressing to the fresh rolls and bread. The entrees... More

We had an early dinner before going to the theater. Menu offered a great selection as well as Summer Specials which we chose. Freshly baked rolls were delicious. Cucumber salad to start with, I had scallops with German sausage and my wife had trout. Both entrees came with a tasty German potato cake. We finished the meal with a cream... More

We had driven past Karlings Inn a few times but never really considered stopping because it is kind of away from everything else. On this occasion, we were headed to Deland in the early evening and decided to stop for dinner on our way home. When we arrived around 8pm, we were the only people there, so service wasn't an... This is the best food in Central Florida. The seafood is simply amazing. The dishes are unique culinary masterpieces. Try the grouper!!!!

The restaurant is billed as German and seafood. We chose the German food and loved it. We went early when it opened.

Since moving to central Florida, I have found very few great restaurants offering decent fine dining. After working 30 years in the New York City area, I have not found too many authentic, ethnic cuisines in this area. This past week my wife and I visited Karlings as we had business in the area. My wife requested the trout almondine... More

While having breakfast next door at their Olde Country Gourmet Bakery, we learned that they were going to have their grand opening of their Sunday Brunch the next Sunday so my wife and I decided to give it a try having easily fallen in love with their breakfast menu next door. We were not disappointed, Great Food, Personal Service and... More

If you're in the area this is a must! Excellent food! This is a mom/pop and serving fine gourmet food, in a warm atmosphere. The owner and host, Lily is so hospitable and wants your experience to be exceptional.

The food is always excellent. We always try to try something different from the last time we visited. Jimmy is the best chef ever! He is creative and always has new and exciting entree choices. Lily always takes great care of her guest, just like if you were in their home visiting. We just got home and I wanted to... More
